Well done guys. Absolutely great. I'm now 64 and live in Germany. As a boy I was a regular to Anfield. My Mum & Dad wouldn't let me go in the Kop until I was about 16. I LOVE ANFIELD.

I'm foreign and have been to the Kop. Sure as hell sang my heart out. I studied all the chants before going. Please don't generalise all foreign supporters, some of us are as passionate as the locals. I noticed the bottom blocks being quiet and sitting most of the time, and the people seemed a bit older.

We need more of this each week, but when each stand gets involved!
Jamesx its not even about the other stands. there is a demand for casual fans and tourists etc who just want to sit down and enjoy a game. but when it comes to the kop and the surrounding edges of the stands near the kop there needs to be more emphasis of active support. ive heard about people telling others to sit down and be quiet IN THE KOP. this is a main stand for active support and you have people like that in there? i think the club itself needs to start implementing ways that will galvanise the fans to create and atmosphere for 90 minites every game perhaps release a statement that from now on seats in the kop are solitarily for active support and that it will be loud if you wish to not be apart of that then to purchase a seat elsewhere. also maybe drums or someone with a speaker to conduct chants etc could be implemented sort of like how crystal palace (who have the best active support in the league) do.
