We make the same sweet, but we grind the soaked channa dhall coarsely and fry it like usili in ghee, add sugar and grated coconut, cashews, dry grapes and cardamom. We call it Kadalai paruppu sweet usili .
Hello sir, I tried this receipe today, tasted good but became hard in few minutes. Realised that I have added too much Jaggery water. Altered it again by adding more water and heating, it became like regular parupu payasam. Will try again with right proportions. My 4 yr old son is your big fan 😊 and he loves to help in kitchen.
