Right now, Apple Pro res 4444(aka the Quicktime QTAnimation, the .mov), HEVC/h.265, VP8, VP9 and AV1, all of these video formats support alpha channels (also HEVC and VP9 have a better output size, AV1 has the best), but also, they use **more cpu/gpu** than Green Screen H264.
The QT is, just bad, in any ways, not only today but also the old days.
Just use H264 with Green Screen if your computer is not strong enough.

Very cool! I can remove the green screen and then exported it as video. I used QuickTime as video container and QT role as the codec. It works and I can see the transparency in other VSEs, but not Blender (i did set to alpa over), any thoughts?
