What part of fox River are you fishing at in the video?
Under hwy 41 I'm gonna guess neenah area
Ok so before I finish the video, the shape of the sinker totally matters. Especially if ur bottom fishing. Round weights will tend to roll on the bottom more than non round e.i. if you have a pyramid weight it will stay better and longer if a heavy current pushes thru. As for a round weight the weight gets rolled across the bottom easily unless its nestled in some rock. My go to is pyramid

This is the fox river in southeastern Wisconsin. I think he's probably just outside of Appleton.

Ok. So for some more catfish tips. If you're using a circle hook dont set the hook just reel into them/reel down. I'm no pro but I've been catfish for the last couple years.. channels are ez btw. I wanna see u hook up on a flathead.. that's where the fun is, if it's a big one my pb is 28.5 lbs

I tie my rods to something with a rope and a carabiner so even if s fish hits the rod it will stay there. I have a wire thing I stick in the ground or in some cracks and I lean my rods against it or I lay my bicycle down and use it as a rack

Videos are always killer, I am in the SE WI area as well and you inspired me to try using a baitcasting reel as primarily have been using spinning rod and reel. Haven't used my baitcaster for a catfish though. Do you think you would ever try a video montage of all the fishing ponds in the Milwaukee area? Either way keep it up!

I would but this area is straight up cement and hard gravel. My rod holder in my bag bent from me forcing it into the rocks

It is Wisconsin, but a lot of those big boats are Illinois swine. Wish they could be banned from Wisconsin, they ruin everything.
