I am coming back to sculpting and I used this video as refresher for my first sculpt in years. Really like some of the techniques you are using, and I love the results! Very inspirational! I lack your anatomy knowledge but hope to improve my game in that department. Thank you so much!
And here I thought I knew any better, I was sculpting male heads from imagination and memory and from what I remember studying from video courses and books. But now, that I understand sculpting and anatomy more, Seeing this video kinda made me feel bummed but, motivated at the same time to learn more rather than keeping on freestyling from memory. Your understanding of form is excellent everything about this male head feels "RIGHT" there is nothing that comes as "Off" and that's what I love about it. I want to contact you on Discord if that is possible for some tips on how to improve as a character artist because I really want to become a decent/excellent character artist in the future who can sculpt anything from a concept or image. Do you provide any courses or long-formatted tutorials? Thanks!
Thank you for commenting, I'm glad to hear the video was motivating! The best advice I can give you is to always use reference. Anatomy for sculptors book and also 3d scans are the best reference materials. I haven't done any courses yet, but I'm considering doing some in the future. Will let everybody know when I do!
