To be fair the different session lengths cant have the same wear rate especially for the races. If in a 25% race ur engine weat goes up by lets say 10% , it will go up by 40 in a 100% race which is a bit wrong.
yeah the current race wear is fine as it is, I just don't understand why they have put in a totally different level of wear just for practice!! 🤷♂️🤷♂️ like IRL if you did 10 laps in practice it would do the same amount of wear as doing 10 laps in the race!!
@@itsmeJUMBO But it's not different just for practice. The wear in practice (just like in race) depends on your session lenght. 3:00 You are comparing a race in the longest session to practice in the shortest which makes no sense. Just like at 5 lap race, which is 5 laps and it's 2% wear, above this you have 19 laps practice and it's only 3% wear.
Practice and race has the same scaling and it's more or less good. Full session length (57 laps) makes 8% wear, practice in full session makes 3% wear for 19 laps. 19*3=57, 3*3=9. So if u would have done 57 laps in practice the wear would be about 9%, more or less just like in race.
Also look at medium session length, race - 14 laps - 4% wear; practice - 17 laps - 5% wear. I think it's how it should be.

It's called "Kicks", it was in the Podium Pass S1 but you should be able to get it from the item shop at some point 👍👍

Apparently Codies didn't mean to put it in 1.06 because it hadn't been properly tested yet, and the way I know that is because it's also removed all boosts and growth of stats accrued, which is mildly annoying in myteam to say the least. Hopefully the fix it and let it work again

Naa I disagree, because you going short in practice, you are spending less time meaning less wear which is not fair to those of us who do long race, I personally do only 100% races lol so you can see where am coming from, according to percentage of wear, it is all leveled to me
but then why doesn't that type of wear apply to the races?? For example if you do a 5 lap you race you only get 2% wear, whereas doing a full race with 57 will get like 8%, surely it should all be 8% then?? Either way they should scale it up so its the same for everyone in practice and the race or don't have any scaling up and make the wear the same based on something like laps or distance travelled etc.
