Thank u so much for your support Raveena ! This made my day
If you are a Canadian permanent resident with Indian passport, sadly will still need a visa to travel to the European countries you mentioned in the video
Hey thanks for sharing , yeah my bad , I have added the updated list of countries in the description.
Hi Sofia..Congrats on your pr card. 🎉
Thank u soo much ❤️
Hi Sophia, hope you are doing great.
I have a question regarding moving to Canada.
Lots of people are saying, people are leaving Canada. For these reasons:
- High cost of living
- Rise in crime and safety concerns
- Challenging social and political climate
- Harsh weather conditions
- Issues with the healthcare system
- Difficulty with social interactions
- Government corruption and censorship concerns
What's Your opinion about it?
Great question, there are challenges no doubt, end of the day it depends on your preferences. I have made two videos sharing my views on the challenges ua-cam.com/video/NGC9JSDqdWU/v-deo.htmlsi=KINE4pRD3MeChiBO

@@sofiaincanada Thanks Alot
Hey Sofia, hope you are doing good, what does actually means, candidate application is in process we will update you when we will start your background check… all the other things are updated into the portal like medical, PCC, Biometric. What do u think they already started the background check and usually how many days it will take to complete BC and for the decision made. Thanks !
Hi if everything is updated it usually means they are just processing and u sud get the portal request soon , they usually finish the background check before biometric request , for me it was like 10 days after biometric That I received the portal request, so it should be coming for u soon , all the best 😀
@@sofiaincanada if I am right you got your PPR on 12 th April right
@@AmitSai-dw1op yes
@@sofiaincanada thanks!
Have you received your PR card already? If yes, how long did it take you to get the PR card?
Thank you in advance.
Yes just received it yesterday, it took almost 2 months
can u please share some official link which says we can travel visa free to listed countries (180 or so, France etc.) as a Canadian PR. I think, we still need a visa to travel to Europen Countries like France
Hi it states that You do not need to apply for a Schengen visa for short-term stays if you are a permanent resident of Canada and you have a blue Canadian travel document.
www.etias.ca/schengen-visa-canada#:~:text=Do%20Canadian%20Permanent%20Residents%20need,a%20blue%20Canadian%20travel%20document.
@@sofiaincanada Only refugee on PR can get blue canadian travel document as they don’t have passport. Majority of us don’t fall in this criteria. Thanks for the insight though!
@@DheerajShyamlalNagpal oh thank u so much for sharing this , really good to know
Hello Sofia
I have received ITA and EE application is under process.
I am in dilemma whether to leave my permanent government job in India for moving to Canada.
I am PG in Economics and LLB. Also having B2 in Delf French. At age 46 along with a family of four, would it be a wise decision?
Pl share your advice
Hi the decision to move is a v individual one , and everyone’s journey once they come to Canada is different too , so it all depends on your priorities and preferences , thus it is v difficult to say
Who told you that with pr you can travel to 180 countries? Its for citizen only. Please dont scam people.
This is what I found on google , and what scam I am not a travel agent or hv any financial benefit by saying this
