Hi, couple of questions: 1) For CEC, is it mandatory to have continuous experience in the same NOC code? On the CEC eligibility page this is what I found: "Canadian skilled work experience means that you’ve worked in 1 or more of these NOC training, education, experience and responsibilities (TEER) categories" 2) Is ECA required even if I have Master's in Canada? 3) Does my primary NOC code have to be for work experience in Canada or can my primary NOC code be my home country work experience in the last 10 years?
1) there is nothing or ircc website stating CEC experience has to be continuous so I don’t think it’s required but always better to call ircc and confirm
2) for masters in Canada eca is not needed for your prior education but there are some exceptions, check this - www.wes.org/requirements-canada-educational-credential-assessment-eca/
Primary noc code doesn’t hv to be Canadian it can be from work ex in your home country, and if u hv Canadian experience under secondary noc u are still considered CEC , I used my foreign work ex as primary noc too
Hi, I got SINP ITA on October 2023 and nomination letter by June 2024 followed by immediate IRCC ITA. I applied with all documents by August mid but with renewal of my dependant passport in July 2024 as it was set ro expire on 3 December 2024. Do I need to apply now for revision of my nomination letter with SINP? Also delay in this can lead to any rejections? Kindly help pls.
My wife's country of residence is India. She is waiting for a spousal work permit, once its approved, she will be traveling to Canada. Meanwhile if we get a PR invite she will be applying for PCC in India. Will the police clearance certificate become invalid if she travels to Canada?
Hey as long as it covers the entire duration of her stay in India it should be fine, but I would recommend calling ircc and confirming , they are usually quite helpful
