All of her pieces she played them with excellence. I am watching from Australia. I used to be a regular piano player at the Grand Casino here in Darwin ,NT. and added, had weekly shows with a pretty lady a great singer! We had real fun then! 🙏👍😄
Beegie's arrangements became the background music of our lives about 20 years ago. My wife and I saw her live 4 times. She's was as wonderful and authentic as her music. We miss her greatly.

And then twice at a Steinway showroom in the Atlanta area. All were such uplifting evenings. My wife once said, "Beegie plays the Great American Songbook just like you want to hear it."
We had recordings of Beegie playing during the cocktail hour at my daughter's wedding. So many commented that it was the best they had heard.. and didn't want it to end. My late mother was a very enjoyable pianist along this style, and several folks mentioned it was as if Mom were back and playing for us. ❤🥲 💍🥂

Turns out I have listened many hours to this lady's smooth as silk jazz.Also met her and others in her various sessions. All pros. Truly a master of the piano, as well as a very kind, compassionate person. I'd have to say the jazz of this quality almost needs to be in one's DNA. She's out there IMO w Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Tanya Maria,Duke, Basie...She is another star in the constellation of Greats.
Couldn't agree more. I wish I could see her but I am the other side of the pond so I shall do the next best thing and listen here and to the CDs I am awaiting. Beegie is delightful. I discovered her a couple of weeks ago - what a precious gem!
Beegie was an excellent pianist, though she mainly played jazz her hands on the piano were as gentle as Vladimir Horowitz playing a Chopin prelude. I'm very happy that her music has been saved here on YT for all to listen to and enjoy. Beegie will continue to be a Blessing. 🎶🎵🌷🙏😃 Miss Monique

I've listened to Beegie Adair since I found her work at the SIU-E jazz station library in 2003. One kind comment by Ross Gentile and I was off on a musical adventure that just doesn't stop. I'm not sure if her maturity as an artist is what has lead me, or if I just have a deeper appreciation for her with a trained ear. Still, I consider a listening session with her like sitting back with a little bourbon ready to be taken on a great musical journey. So glad there is you!
