- The start of the 350z rust, using products from Rustbuster (www.Rust.co.uk) and fitting the Nismo V1 Style side skirts.
The welding still needs to be done, but test fitting parts is always good, as now I can see how much work I need to do to make them fit perfect.

I like it, looks good.
Which company makes them?
The company that made these ones are Grams, I was probably a little harsh in the video, the fitment is as expected from aftermarket body parts, they only disappointment is that they dont go all the way under the sill and use the original fixing points, but I had the black side extensions that will be used and be mounted together.
I had same side skirts fitted, but I bonded them on, the drivers side broke when I removed it, hence why i'm fitting new skirts, those were made by RT Performance, and again these did not have the best fit, where they bolt to the door shut they were coming away by about an inch so they would of been difficult to bolt without bending it back into shape and possibly cracking them.
Overall the Grams fit better, but its a massive shame they didnt make them so they would go all the way under the sill, but with the black side extensions they add support and look better with a little bit poking out.
Any aftermarket body kit should be fitted by a bodyshop as there will always be some adjustments to make.
Awh the area of rust at the rear sills. I had this exact thing happen on my 350z. They all rust there. Youre like "thats not too bad" 1 wire wheel later...."its pretty bad". I ended up sending mine away to be welded. And pretty much replaced that whole little section on each side.😅
The moment you realized the rust is worse than you tought lol, such a relatable moment. One moment you're touching up a little bit rust and few minutes later theres a huge hole 😂
PS: You might want to check the rear side of the rear arches where the rear bumper connects. Also a common place for rust on Z's
As soon as one small hole appeared, I just wanted to walk away....
@@VarleyRebuilds too late for that 🥹
you would of never slept a wink 😅
It would of haunted me, checked it the other day, still solid.

I’m still looking for that hardware, it doesn’t show the page no more
I am scared to even check mine after seeing that hole appear on yours. Also I got sides skirts from grams when I had an MR2 and those did not go under the car all the way either.
I was when i noticed the rust, but it will only get worse. I've attached my old side diffusers to the skirts and they look prerty good.
please reply loo
