- On 8 March 2023, Lürssen launched the 114.2 m project Cosmos.
Marc Newson is the exterior and interior designer of the vessel, and she will be the first Lürssen yacht to feature fuel cell technology on board.

That is a VERY interesting ship! Will we ever know more? Very excited to see fuel cell technology finally being built into a hull. Will she be fully fuel cell powered I wonder?
Interesting design indeed! Not fully fuel cell, no.
Likely it will be running on methanol, it releases hydrogen gas, then power the fuel cells to generate electricity

Hm regarding the name COSMOS and the kind of dome on the roof, it would be totally amazing that the final result include a space with a telescope or 360° bedroom to watch the sky I think none yacht has this thing

Why the dingy look of it all looks like one of those old beat up Chinese fishing boats give it some stainless steel “ shine “ to the dam thing . Give it a look. Darry Vader wouldn’t even be caught dead in this things kudos for the hydrogen fuel cell definitely cutting edge finally.
this is either going to be very cool looking.. or very ugly. Also.. where is... the rest of it? All hull and no superstructure.
The part with the flags on it are the superstructure, it's been moved fully forward. It's a great design.

А теперь как строить?!? Газа нет, металла нет. Себестоимость в 2-3 раза дороже. И зачем мне яхта стоимостью на 3 раза дороже?!? Непонятно....
ресурсы как шли на запад, так и дальше идут, торговлю никто не останавливал, вопрос в цене или бартере, а у миллиардеров вообще проблем с деньгами нет
@@d.b.q.p.1540 ну предположим что эта яхта стоит 1$ а теперь она стоит 2-3$. это много. Даже если учитывать что в нее уже включили доп расходы, примерно в треть цены то получается строить просто себе в убыток! Миллиардеры как раз считают!!!
