- This is based on the story of the game Art of Fighting 2 (and some other relating games), created by SNK.
It took me nearly a year for this 10 min animated video. During such a long time, my skill in this aspect has evolved from a terrible amateur to a less terrible one (lol). But I hope people enjoy my effort.

yeah. i'm a big fan of Ryo, and I'm practising Shotokan Karate too. i did try to give Ryo some bunkai i know and a few of my favourite techniques used in kumite. and thanks for your compliment. OSU
Hell yeah, bro. I practise Shito Ryu- karate. And as you might know Mas oyama (Takuma lol) use to practice Shotokan. Than Kyokushin (kyokugen) was born.
that's nice. i barely know anything of Shito-ryu except for its name, because i hardly find clips or document about it. but i hope you might somehow show me more about your style. i'm really love martial arts, especially Karate (any form of Karate)
because i'm following Shotokan right now, i think Ryo in this clip is heavily influenced by my Shotokan background lol. but i think i did give him one of the best K.O in Kyokushin tournament in 7:51.

obviously. look at the name lol.
just joking. it's true that the fictional Kyokugen is based on the real Kyokushinkai Karate. the stances and strikes of Ryo and Takuma in the early games are obviously Kyokushin.
although later in the late 90s and early 2000s they made Kyokugen Karate more Shotokan-like: in Fatal Fury Wild Ambitious, Buriki One and NGBC making Ryo look like a full-Shotokan user, and giving him a lower and wider stance in KOF games; Takuma and Butt's fighting styles at this period are also look more like a Shotokan to me.
but starting from KOF13, they did try to come back to the original Kyokugen which is heavily influenced by Kyokushin Karate, giving Ryo back his original stance, changing his chudan and gedan uke. meanwhile, Takuma fights more like a traditional Okinawa Karate master in KOF13 lol.
(i don't mention Robert and Yuri, for their ways of Karate are a little unorthordox to me lol. but if i have to say which kind of Karate does Robert use, i think it somehow remind me of Christopher Pinna who started competing Karate a few years after the 1st AoF was released)

Incredible fight. Very nice dude, Ryo kicked Geese's butt a lot. Now create a animation to Terry VS Geese, Ryo VS Krauser. And how Takuma and Saisyu know each other.

Mình thật sự bất ngờ vì mình nhầm tưởng bạn thích Ryo Sakazaki vì phong cách nhân vật của anh ta, nhưng bây giờ nhận ra đằng sau nó là tình yêu võ thuật bao la của bạn. Bạn có cân nhắc làm video Terry Bogard và Ryo Sakazaki chứ khi mà người ta vẫn luôn bàn tán hai nhân vật này. Có thể nó sẽ làm phật lòng một số người nhưng video của bạn thì ý tưởng của bạn thôi. Rất mong được thấy những video tương tự như này trong tương lai. Và mình đã xem hết video lẫn đăng ký rồi nhe.

The fight scenes have been tiring for a long time. I think it should be short. Will there be another animation after that?
Thanks for your advice. Maybe i was too greedy trying to give it everything i could think of but not thinking of how it make my spectators tiring (and I was kind of afraid of how I was so Ryo-bias that Geese had not enough show time lol)
About another animation, i'd like to make a new project as soon as i have an idea of a great fight and free time. I have quite a few idea at the moment but have no directions for how the fight would be played.
For example, you can remake Kizuna encounter opening. :). I'm thinking to remake.

Good animation it just feels like Geese is being beaten down though. Like how is he moving so easily after his neck, arms and legs are being broken

Probably on the future. Currently I'm working on Robert vs Wyler, and later would be either 1 of these:
1. Billy vs Yamazaki (KOF2003)
2. Ron vs The Hizoku
3. Ron & the Hizoku vs Psycho Soldiers (KOF11)
4. Geese vs Jin brothers & Yamazaki (RBFF)
I'll work on KOF2001 when I have improved in drawing girls. Until now I still ask my little brother to help me with girl or girly boy faces (Saiki face in the KOF2003 video was a disaster because it's me who drew it lol)
Liked! It's nice, but is a bit too long/draggy. Quite a number of repeated move/action, should just take the 'essence' of both character's skill rather than keep spamming few times. The ending is cool too. How I wish Mr Karate II will be canon and in main stream of KOF universe.

couldn't agree more. the animation is too terrible to be called professional animation. but that isn't much a bother to me until I saw:
1. Geese fighting Jeff not in his young form. watch the intro of FF Wild Ambition and you'll see him killing Jeff wearing a black suit and long blond hair.
2. Ryo had to struggle against Billy and Benimaru. seriously? the dude kicked Geese's ass. he supposed to one punch Billy, who was shown to be not even a threat to Terry, or Geese. the same goes for Benimaru. i can't find any good reason to support the idea of Benimaru can stand a chance against Ryo. and although the episode is about Ryo's Kyokugen Karate, except for 1 single uppercut, the property of his fighting style is nowhere to be found. where is his blocking techniques (which are his signature moves), his chop moves, Zanretsuken, and his famous one punch KO move?
3. King's stance. she's supposed to be in a Muay Thai stance. but her stance was showed with both her arms lower than where they should be. the position of her feet and her movements are also terribly inaccurate.
in conclusion, such thing called kof destiny made by Chinese people, which is a show with zero knowlegde of either the properties of KOF or martial arts, is a disgrace to KOF and humanity
don't know that much. i dropped that garbage since ep3. not worth my time, not worth my attention. as far as i can tell, the thing threw away more than 80% of kof's substance, and did terrible things to whatever left. i feel disgrace when people watch such garbage, without any knowledge of what kof really is, and then make judgement towards us who know what kof really is.
Mike Jones Chinese people. They have long forgotten how to make a good film adaptation of their own novels. How can they make a good adaptation of a Japanese story? KOFD is destined to be shit right the moment they let a Chinese studio take over. You see, forget about the 80% wrong in story, they can't even make the fight scences right.
