I'm just an amateur, so obviously it's not really good. But i hope people enjoy my effort.

King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited. Please does anyone know how to execute perfectly RYO'S UNBLOCK-ABLE SUPER RAGE ATTACK ? WHY IS IT SO HARD??
I'm afraid I'm no expert in KOF02UM. But I'll pinned your request so that if an expert see it, he'll give you the answer
by no means an expert, can't even do the bc cancel combos, but the move just seems to have, as you described, unreasonably precise timing requirements, just like in the original 2002.
some moves just are like that; similar move is K''s hidden in the same installment.
and the move might not be 236a+c; some have written it as 236a.c, which, if true, brings it into the realm of those tekken/soul calibur just moves.
I'm a bit late but this move has simple requirements:
-You have to execute it, after any move, during your cooldown time, when you can't do Nothing. It can be after a roll or after a jump or even an actual connected hit of yours
-It is a plink command, which you perform by tapping one button after another, not altogether, like all others SDM's.
Hope you get it, it's tricky but not impossible by any means.

While the art is meh, the actual animation is absolutely beautiful, you definitely did your research on not only the characters fighting styles and personalities but the form of Karate in general and fight choreography. Absolutely great work!!!

If I recall, at some point in a AOF or KOF game Ryo himself becomes the next Mr. Karate (there is a reason why and his personality was so different but I can't remember which games it is from).

thanks. i'm glad you like it. and the programs i used were AnimeStudio and MangaStudio (Windows 10 has stopped supporting MangaStudio so i replaced it by ClipStudio in the last part of the project). hope these info useful for you.

the way Mr.Karate is designed he looks to resemble an older Ryo,similar hair,even though we know it's a mask.
How many hours, days, or months did you do this? And also, what animation software did you use?
It took me 3 months to do this. I used Anime Studio and Clip Studio to do the animation

There are actually 3 different vers of Mr. Karate. The first takuma with a tengou mask and Mr.karate with Ryo version, and the last one is the called Serious mr.karate

@@shazamsakazaki yeah I can tell, and that version was came from Kof maximum impact Revolution A. Ryo mr karate has a word on the left of his shoulder is called ( 极 ). Did u know that? is like on another costume without mask.

sorry about it lol. i did think of the cat after the clash scene, but i don't know how to demonstrate the cat getting out of that chaos without ruining the continuous pace of the fight (which i wanted to emphasize). so just assume the cat get out of it somehow, like Yamazaki's coat somehow disappeared when he took it out in the beginning of each match lol.
@@shazamsakazaki don't need to apologize. you did a much greater than SNK itself, you acknowlegde the greatness of Kyokugenryu Karate and make a great demonstration of it through your animation.
is it the same cat in the fight Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris? this cat witnessed every epic battle

@@MikeJones-fv2en wow, i love that fight too. but i haven't watched it again for years, i didn't even remember there's a cat in it until you mentioned it lol. i guess Lee and I used the same method to describe the tension before the fight.
but the inspiration for that scene actually was a manga called "Change 123" (or "Change HiFuMi"), where the cat was replaced by the hawk falling down. actually, there's a lot of scenes that were inspired by that manga, like Mr.Karate's Seoi Nage, Ryo kicked when Mr.Karate down, the Dou Mawashi scene, etc. i love that manga, one of the best martial arts manga i've read. it demonstrate really well how a martial art scene should be like, unlike currently trending isekai manga/anime/light novel.

thanks. i'm glad that you consider my work higher than kof destiny. i also don't like what they did to the characters' ranking, fight scenes and the plot in kof destiny as well, but some might have different opinions.
Ya I would say if fans don't matter or care about SNK's past work, then kof destiny is probably not bad to them. They can ignore whole AOF's feat n history. But if u are fan of SNK's work, is hard not to know the feat of AOF. Some would say KOF main character is Kyo anyway, AOF is just side. But I would say so is Terry, but he has so much limelight in KOF D and is like 2nd main. They basically threw AOF aside, when the fact Ryo Sakazaki is actually the 1 defeating Geese first. What pisses me the most is AOF lost in just a 1 shot screen. And they don't even bother to make Takuma model. Really very poor and insincere production. But in your videos, I am sure most viewers who watch it can feel your passion and sincerity in your work unlike KOF destiny.

This is something you'd get when you let the Chinese do a Japanese thing. Have you ever ever seen any Chinese media that has a Karate guy win in the end?
Right the 2nd episode they showed how ridiculous Ryo was in terms of intelligence, and fighting ability. You think the man who defeated Geese himself, and made Geese so aware of it he'd later on call the guy "The Invincible Dragon", could not defeat Billy or Benimaru? They showed Terry defeating Billy with ease, and Ryo could not? The guy who made kofd is an idiot who knows nothing, and deserves an "Ichigeki Hissatsu".
SNK should have taken this guy for the job, at least in Ryo's choreography, because no one is more suit for it than he is. After all, he knows SNK's stuff, he mains Ryo in his game and as he stated, he's practising Karate himself.
@@heroshen Yeah they gave Terry so much screen time while Ryo not is quite unfair, remembering the concept of KOF was about letting Ryo and Terry fight each other. It's also indicated multiple times Ryo is at least on the same level of Terry, or even stronger (the guy was the secret boss of 2 FF games, which indicates Ryo >> Geese in FF timeline). Yet he looks weak, about the same tier as Benimaru, Billy, Goro?
And the plot is also terrible too. It's really not my taste.
@Mãnh Long Võ thanks. But i'm afraid i'm not suitable for the job. You know, i'm an amateur, and i don't know about CG animating. And i don't think they would accept someone whose only job is telling them: "Hey, Ryo should throw a punch like this, he should block like that" lol

Lol wtf.. That scene when the nose poke the eye got me burst of laughter,.. The art is meh, but the idea is awesome.. Good job.. Try using toonboom next time.. You got a lot mo flexibility on animating there.. Unlike flash
