Great video I’ve watched it over and over, because of the love I have for Libertads thanks for all you do for the coin collecting community keep it going.
I've found a new Libertad information source! They're my favorite coin on side the Germainia's. Thanks so much for the video. KEEP THE LIBERTAD INFO- TRAIN COMING!!!
Thanks! I'm always on the lookout for something special and unique or something that might just fly under the radar a bit. I'm pretty happy with this group. 😊
Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it! I'm not sure the 1998 would do well with a dip because besides the toning, it seems to have a "milky" layer as well, which I don't think would come off with the dip.
Was a ble to snag a 1991 type 2 for 200 when he was asking for 275. I got 2x 1998 one sent for grading came back MS67 the other is monster toned in the album.
Hi J. I love the toners. The reverse proof is my favorite finish. My Libertad collection is one of my prize collections. I was lucky to get an early start on collecting Libertads. Where do you get current prices? Thanks.
I would love to see your collection some day, Donald! For current prices I usually get an average of sold listing on ebay, Facebook, and dealers that I know. It's usually just ballpark and not intended to be taken strictly since there are so many variables and different factors involved when it comes to price and current market value.
Haha, I know. I rearranged this list so many times before making this video. The truth is that it's hard picking one over another sometimes. They're all special in their own way.
Oh man, I took forever to find good capsules that fit the thicker older style libertads. I finally found some that I love! I believe they are 40mm, which is why I use the foam ring. I should do a video on them...
Awesome collection, you left me drooling. So it's your fault I had to pay $590 for a 91 type 2? Just kidding, I should have acted sooner. Great video, keep them coming. I've learned a lot from you, thanks.
Haha, sorry you had to pay so much, but the prices on the types 2s sure have skyrocketed! Thanks for watching, commenting, and supporting the channel, I really appreciate it
I don't think they are die polish lines because they cover the whole coin, not only the the fields of the coin, and also because die polish lines tend to be straighter. It could be something to do with the die prep, just not sure what would've caused it. Most likely it's Struck thru cloth or grease or some other material. I'd like to compare it to other 2007s that also have that texture to see if it varies much from one coin to another.

I’m looking for a 2007. That’s a tough one to find.
Big like number 62 and subscribed! Excellent video and thank you so much for sharing!
Awesome! Thanks for subscribing!
Excellent narrative...I currently have 10 of the 42 available! Happy hunting!
That's a great start! 1/4 of the series is pretty good! Thanks for watching and subscribing
I’m kicking myself for passing on the 1991 type 2 for $125.
I'd love to see No. 7 after a dip. You have an amazing collection and your presentation is very professional.

That's awesome! Seems like 91 Type 2 are all the rage these days.
very well presented! Loved your video and thank you for sharing with us. Does the mint in Mexico have a subscription program like the US Mint?
Nice collection. I agree with you on the 1991 type 2 being the rarest.
Thanks! Yes, most likely, although I hope to able to confirm the exact mintage of the 91 Type 2 someday.
@@TheCoinBoxChannelapproximately 50k pcs. Just sold one 1991 T2 $612
@@thinkdifferently9870yes, they have skyrocketed in price recently!
What's up with 2024 Libertads? Were they already released, or are they yet to be released? I can't find any anywhere.
I have not seen any 2024 Libertads yet. Libertads are generally released late in the year around Sep-Oct. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing this Great Content!
Glad you liked it!

personally i believe toning can adds to the coin
I agree, some toning looks awesome on coins!
Nice collection there, Sir. Funny you rating the 1991 Type I above the T II although I agree the tone is nice. You need to get the 1983 proof.
Haha, I know. I rearranged this list so many times before making this video. The truth is that it's hard picking one over another sometimes. They're all special in their own way.
And yes, I hope to be able to afford an 83 proof one day! 😅
Very nice list. Question, what size capsules with black ring are you using?

Great video. I too have the 98 crowned eagle and 91 type 2. They’re the top 2 in my collection.
Great, congrats! Those 2 are definitely top key in the whole Libertad series
@@TheCoinBoxChannel Thanks. I’m trying to complete my BU set but that 2019 antique finish is very hard to come by 😂.
@Command_Execute for sure!
Awesome Libertads!
Thanks, Martin! I'm pretty happy with this group 😁

That appears to be die polish/prep on the 2007 Libertad.
