That motor it's the same one that where used for the Kacemaster Bendix washing machines build here un Argentina! Top loadres with no agitators. The washing was done by the oscilating movement of the entire basket that had to agitators (like a front load). Bye!

Cool old vintage machine. The motor reminds me of the GE motor on two vintage belt drive power tools I have that belong to my great grandfather. Glad Phil and you are okay. We are guys we should be use to things exploding.
If you were here, you’d have it fixed in no time! Needs a mechanic not a white goods engineer 🤣. We never get used to appliances going berserk and going pop fizz!!! 🤣
@@HooverLux Maybe I am rather handy and do lost of my own car repairs. Too bad it was not as simple as bypassing the suppressor in the old Hoovers.
I know, I was gutted, it’s a shame I couldn’t just unplug the motor and remove it, the wires go directly into the motor and it’s all facing the wrong way. You have to dismantle most it to get to it. Someone will fix it definitely 🤗
Well, a nice try anyway. I have seen videos on this machine years ago, but not to this extent. If you ever come across another unit, could you show the dishwasher function? Thanks!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it and yeah, it was sad it only lasted 3 minutes, I should have used it with no laundry to warm it up first, but to be honest, I think it would have blown either way. I tried to sell it and then to even give it away, but absolutely no one wanted it, so off to the tip it went. I doubt I’ll ever see one again 😢
