@seahawk124 Normans is the Scandinavian word for some one who come from Norway. It's written Nordmand and since the "D"s aren't prenounced, people from Nordmandy are called Normen.
Actually Wales fought off Saxons when they invaded a long time ago, so a small proportion in Wales was actually Celtic and not Saxon. Also the Welsh fought off the Normans in the North and worked with Scotland to finally take it all back.
Technically speaking, none of those races actually came from Scandinavia. Most of them came from Northern areas of Germany, except the Jutes, who migrated there from southern Denmark.
It's pretty impressive that he was able to do it that fast.

Here's an actual fact: The original Northmen of Normandy were Danes. Northmen and Norse were general terms for vikings.
