Being born in 1968 and as child loving George Reeves as Superman and Burt Ward and Adam West as Robin and Batman, when I learned of the figures, I had to have the Mego figures. Great memories.. I loved those toys andstill have one or two of them all these years later. BTE, loved this video!
Great video! You are very methodical on repairs! I had Spidey, Shazam, Aquaman, and Batman (also Capt Kirk) as a kid. I just bought a '73 Batman in a local buy, and found out it was missing the pelvis, with the uniform holding all the parts together! That started me on a journey to fix it, very fun! Bought a pelvis 🤣 & restrung the limbs to the body, sewed up some holes, made a new cape & got repro boots, belt & gloves. Worth it - looks great!
That's great, repairs can be really rewarding and a great way reconnecting with vintage toys and memories. Sounds like it all went well 👍 Thanks for watching and sharing!
Hi there Tim ive just been watching your video on major Matt fireball space cannon . I find if you use lighter fluid on the decals it gets rid of the glue as well even if the glue residue is stuck on the toy.
The highlighter does stain fabric, in the sense that for this application it does what I need it to do, cover the white elastic. If the figure is stored in a area where conditions aren't ideal (humidity, heat, sun, etc.) I suppose there could be a chance of a transfer stain. There are numerous fabric marker manufactureres, that would be ideal especially if working with a larger amount of fabric, and solid sustainability. www.amazon.com/shop/toytinkertim/list/1YYVY5F6TVKVU?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d There's a link to some through my Amazone affiliate store to look into, thanks for watching and asking!

Really great job with these repairs, especially the Green Goblin’s snagged suit. Amazing!
Thanks Greg, that figure probably took the most work.

Will that yellow highlighter you used on the elastic bleed over time on the uniform?
