This is also my favourite Queen tune. He’s such a powerful voice, and this is one of those rare songs in which the lead guitar is allowed to keep pace with his voice-neither outshines the other, but they weave in and out of each other, and both contribute so significantly to the overall atmosphere that to remove either would be to cause the entire tune to collapse and die.
I will never forget how it felt to hear this the first time, on the Innuendo record in 1991. It is said that fascination is created by fear and horror come together. This one was a kick in the gut.. so painful, yet so beautiful, especially when you knew the lyrics were serious. I have never since heard a more beautiful farewell.

Love the Black & White hue of your video!! One of the greatest songs ever written!! Lots of artists have covered this song but I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that Freddie should be the only person singing this song!! A dying man’s declaration that the show must go on! 😭 Brian wrote it for Freddie so nothing to talk about now .... with exception of Adam Lambert, obviously!!

Like many people I love much of Queen's music. One of my favourites is A Winters Tale which just expresses some of Freddie's final thoughts on the beauty of life and the planet we live on. It i neither sad nor particularly uplifting, but it does make you think about how a dying person looks at the world around them. In that light, may I add what an attractive and thoughtful young lady you are.

My friends have asked me, what my favorite Queen song is. My reply is always, "Yes"
sorry if someone already said it before ... or if I'm wrong. But I would say that this song was written by Brian May, with the situation that Freddie was going through at that time. The video clip is not original and incorporates images from many of his clips because there was no opportunity to record one with Freddie. Rest in pace.

Hey, now I don't know what it is but I'm beginning to suspect that you already know this song. ;)
Just a quick thought from a 54 year old guy. I consider myself a music buff, like a lot of genres, but I can't understand how people (mostly younger) like that crap they sang at the Super Bowl. Remember when one band/person could handle it without an overdone set and hundreds of dancers to make them look good. It's all about the voices and Queen and others are the true artist!

I'm 63 and a huge queen fan. Music these days, if you can call it music, is almost always trashy, profane and it boggles my mind how popular it is. Queen is the most talented band of the century. They can sing it all, Freddy's voice is one in 100 million. That just comes naturally to a true musician .

The show must go on. It´s a great song, but at the same time cruel. Because you just can´t call in sick when you are on tour. You have to perform. Mickie Dee, the drummer in Motörhead have said in Swedish radio he played the last concert on the européen tour with a broken leg. And just look at what happened to Avicee.
But I do understand why you like Queen. Who doesn´t. But there are so much other music I would like to see someone give a comment on. Like, Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart - People Get Ready (Theres an Official Video that are really nice), Jeff Beck and Emogen Heep has done a really great song called Blanket. Worth listen to. And maybe give a comment on? And then there are The Band´s(version of) - The Weight, or A Group Called Smith - The Weight. Known from a epic cult movie called Easy Rider. So since I haven´t heard anyone react to any of these songs it would be great if u fancied drop a comment on one of them. There are so many commenting Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath already I thought I should give som suggestions on some other songs.
