Me and friend are planning to do some workshops for the youth. Is there any anything in particular I should mention when writing a grant which might help the chance of getting accepted? Thanks George
@bestymusic4845 Good question. Grant funders say first of all to (1) make sure your project fits what they fund; (2) follow all of their instructions; (3) answer all of their questions, meaning don't leave anything blank; and (4) meet their deadlines, since a late grant proposal is automatically discarded and unfunded, no matter how good the project is. Kinda sticky, but that's how they roll.
Can we apply the same work for different grants? Or do we have to submit different works for each grant that we applying simultaneously to?
@avhaneha3227 Yes, you can! So long as the work fits each funder's requirements, and the timing matches your needs. The budget section of the proposal often asks for sources of support, and you can indicate there that you're asking multiple sources, including other foundations. Note that you can only submit one proposal to the funder at a time, but you can submit a proposal to many funders at once. I hope that was clearer than mud!

This is awesome I wish I knew that this stuff was available theni wouldn't of done one damn crime there should be a grant writer that is part of the prisoners release so he has money upon release wow there's an idea instead of oh I don't know the other really hard programs you put people through . I never agreed to any of the stuff that is done to me daily and illegally I'm no angel but I thought I had reason to ugh I feel so damn stupid God bless

I'm honestly a way to advanced artist and have so many disciplines i wouldn't know where to begin cuz I make so much art. If u can message me and help me with narrowing down grants in California would be awesome . S.o.s
