This, boys and girls, is how not to rebuild an engine. Everything gunned up. Put back together with the old bearings, seals, rings, oil pump. Shit, didn't even replace the oil filter!! Then fills it with used oil. The best bit though is the old clutch put back on with the friction side of the pressure plate painted black. Amazing!
LMAO i was when i watched this video... painted pressure plate haha. Btw when you watch the start attempt in the beginning you notice that one cylinder lacks compression. Why all this work when its bs? They didnt even number or mark any parts when they disassembled it in the first video which was labeled "formula 1 engine"..... SMH
First attempt at starting looked like timing was 180 degrees off...didn't see him installing timing belt to match either, but since the valves did not interfere with the pistons, maybe I just missed it. Also, since this is a fuel injected engine, and no sign of a control box, no wonder he had to "bottle feed" it run! Meticulous job of cleaning however, and painting.
This is very entertaining, the title alone: "1000HP" - LOL Regarding the "restoration": I was surprised that it did start (barely on 3 cylinders though) - to be honest. To restore an engine so much more must be done. But okay: Entertaining.

La verdad bastante gusto a poco la reparacion....hecha en el suelo, no reemplazó ningún rodamiento, ni aros ni pistón, ni filtro de aceite, no midió si estaba plana la tapa ni usaste llave de torque para ajustar nada...los kilos se los diste a ojo....no se...todo muy chapucero...felicitaciones x las ganas nomas q le pusiste...saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷

If you put a turbo on it, it will make 2000HP easy! And by the way all the parts on the engine have a life time warranty so as long there's people living on earth, everything is good to go ! They don't make engines like this anymore!

Well I’ve seen some engine rebuilds in my time but nothing like that. Testimony to the fact that in a remote area , without specialist tools and knowledge it is entirely possible to deconstruct & rebuild an engine . I was surprised that it fired up at all given the fact that it was rebuilt in the fashion it was. Very interesting & thanks for sharing .
So baut man keinen Motor auseinander und zusammen. Deshalb läuft er auch nicht so richtig. Sämtliche Schrauben werden mit Drehmoment angezogen, Zylinderkopf mit neuen Schrauben montiert und die zylinderkopfdichtung wird nicht eingeklebt. Und die Zylinder, Stössel usw müssen an gleicher Stelle eingebaut werden wo Sie ausgebaut worden sind.
You need to check the timing in the correct firing order or adjust the distributor by turning you can turn it while it’s running to get to the right firing order As it out of firing order. I can only hear 3 cylinder firing not 4.

Этот мотор в новом виде больше 70-90 hp не выдаст, а то что сделал этот недомастер это не реставрация. Еле завёл, да ещё не все цилиндры работают, ужас! >_< Надо было поршни с цилиндрами тоже покрасить, и побольше герметика, прямо в картер и в масляный фильтр, что бы вообще всё загерметизировать, если сальники не поменял, что бы точно масло не протекло! Думаю уже не 1000 а больше 1500hp получилось бы!😄

Even if you took this engine, gave Gran Turismo the god cheat code and could upgrade it using the very best fantasy mods... I doubt it would ever make 1000 hp not unless they were Shetland Ponies perhaps or My Little Pony sort of hp's hehe Thing is, a mechanics job is to take a broken or breaking down machine and fix it up enough to make it work and this chap does it just like that, if you want real horror stories go look at the backstreet garages in Calcutta or Pakistan and see how they do it.
I can watch these restoration videos all day, I love this guy's work and craftmanship...but can we gift him a torque wrench? I mean seriously, torque specs dude! 🤣

Instead of using a torque wrench, he use a pneumatic tool for tightening crankshaft screws
from 33:44 its different engine. Could not start the first one so he made a little swap to start :D :D but nice try
