Found you on Tik Tok, followed you here and in all my many years of DIY home repairs, you've been one of the best teachers! Short and to the point; I love it! BOOM! 🧨
Another great video In Chicago. You never see texture. Only time I recall seeing what we called stipple ceilings. Only put on bad ceilings , plaster, older buildings. Real pointy to. No knockdown. Thx for your videos! Not in the trades but enjoy your videos.
My daughter pulled my towel bar down a few times so I put the bracket s on the studs and had to trim the towel bar down by 2 inches using a hack saw so it lined up with the studs but that didn't work to long the bar bent so know I just use a towel stand 4 year olds are hard to break and replace. much love
I’m not good with anything handy but I have been watching your videos, and I use everything about caulking that you do. You make it easy to with your explanations. My wife thanks you😂😂
True story. That happened to me at an Airbnb that time I saw Tyler Childers at Red Rocks. I got what I needed at walmart and fixed it like you did. Well, sort of.
I have a old home I’m redoing lil by lil I have old walls that have multiple layers of paint when I try to add texture to the wall it bubbles up. Any idea how to fix this. I’m using joint compound out of a bucket.
I've always wondered if there's a reason why walls have this textured pattern in the US? I'm in Europe and our walls are usually plastered flat with no texture at all...
at that point, you could have just cut that section out, reinforced behind there using wood to the next stud and added new drywall. Did that to mine and now I have no fear of my towel bar getting pulled out like that or getting loose
Yeah for most homes down in Georgia the walls are flat with either stipple ceilings or popcorn. Although homes that are being built nowadays are getting flat ceilings. Unless you live in the upper class 90% of homes do not have texture down here. I was honestly surprised with the amount of jobs you got with knockdown texture.

Is your daughter doing pull ups on the towel rack or something??? Haha it's nuts how that goes
Are u ever planning on coming to La? I got some great videos u can make out here
Thanks ❤
Bro Great video!!! where do you get that texture bag and gun to spray small area? Could you please post a link thanks.
Houses out west in fast growing areas have textured walls simply because it’s cheaper and faster to build since the texture hides imperfections.
Lazy builders want to do everything cheap while still charging premium prices.
I like your animated "boom" at the end!
Hi so that 5 minute hot mud means it doesn’t need to dry over night?? I have joint compound in the garage can I use that? Or will it take longer??
Knockdown here in AZ everywhere. 50% of homes are knockdown texture or some form of textured drywall finish.

We have a similar texture thing in UK called artex. Most people use it on the ceiling.
It's horrible stuff and really difficult to remove.
Ardex?
first shes native american now shes british!?
Your the man bro. Especially now that I know you are a fellow Colorado dude!!
I could use you this weekend. I had a new shower put in and lots of work to do now including moving the towel bar over. Too bad you are so far away 😞
You just saved me $350 sir…Thank You!!!!😄😄😄!!!
Nice and cool to see you read your comments!
Mate you make me want to be a handyman! Love ur work
We did one home 🏡 with the knock down and all the rest of the homes we built flat ceiling and clean walls.

It’s common texture In ky and tn

Looks like your website is down. Where in Colorado? I don't need any work now, but want to keep you in mind if you're in the Denver metro.
In my area orange peel has been the main texture for years although that’s changing now
Can you show how to remove texture from dry wall ?
Nice man how a can get a hold of you I for some work here en Denver
How do I ask you a question about a big Crack in my ceiling?

I live in New York and it’s mostly flat around head sometimes the ceilings will have texture but that’s it
It's because it hides imperfections. It's so much harder to make a wall flat.
I wish there was more knockdown in south florida, but that's a residential thing. I have to do a lot of level 5 finish

Here in AZ, we have knock down and orange peel
So realistically the towel bar was moved a little higher because the anchors won't hold too well in a drywall patch?

1st again bro! You're my fav!
Dang why you gotta throw your bro in law under the bus like that lol
Cool
Install load bearing devices into studs, not drywall. Problem solved permanently.
2nd love it
😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Glad we dont have this ugly texture stuff in europe😂
Can you get a better camera or up the quality. It’s kinda ass lol
