I didn't hate torsion bar suspension until I had to make my own headers for a minitruck. Fabrication takes a lot more drive and dedication than most people realize. Always good to see progress.
One of the reasons that an exhaust gets quieter as the diameter goes up is because of the resonant frequency. The bigger the tube the lower the resonant frequency. High pitched noise is perceived as louder than low pitched noise even when they are the same decibel. That's why high pitched noises seem to carry further.
I got excited when you considered trying the longtubes out again. I know you're just building a cruiser, but IMO they just sound better.

It's a sniper fed h/c/i 350 with a vortech centrifugal supercharger similar to what goldie had back in the day. Its stupid loud at wot.
