I also visited Xian. It was in 2019. Unfortunately I didn't have time to go to the Bell Tower and City Wall, just the Wild Goose Pagoda (大雁塔) and 大慈恩寺. I was only there a couple of days and there is just too much to take in in that amount of time - we had to go to Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and Qianling Mausoleum. I need to go back 🙂. I like your photos from there.
I've been to 大雁塔 too, but my photos there wasn't that great, haha. My favorite place in Xi'an is definitely The Terracotta Warriors, I learned the history about it in history class in middle school when I was around 14, and finally saw it with my own eyes when I was 21, it just looked exactly the same in the book! I felt like I was reading my history book again when I was standing in front of the Terracotta Warriors.
