The latest release of the Pioneer shirt offers one of the best crash items visvim has produced this year. While not officially labeled as a ‘crash’ shirt, this ICT release is full of damaged and repaired details throughout. It is composed of a custom developed hickory selvedge denim that takes inspiration from vintage American workwear. The denim is lightweight and has been distressed to resemble a garment that has been lived in. This process is time-consuming, being that all the repair work and stitching is done by hand.

The social sculpture shirt is a staple for any visvim collector. It takes clear inspiration from American Western shirts. Until recently, most social sculpture shirts were slim-fit, and purposely designed to offer a tailored fit. This iteration is oversized and provides a similar fit to the lumber shirt. This shirt is composed of a custom 8 oz. 100% cotton grey selvedge denim. The crash damage details are what make this shirt special. Much like the other shirt mentioned, this one is made to look like it’s been handed down from generation to generation. This timeless style makes it an easy piece to incorporate in just about any wardrobe. Additional highlights include American snap buttons and a kofu patch at the hem.

This version of the pioneer has a special blend of 92% cotton and 8% silk. The composition of this shirt offers a lightweight, flowy fit that is extremely comfortable to wear during the summer months. It is constructed using natural-dyed threads that have been crash-processed.
Original cowbone buttons are used that provide a nice contrast to the blue color of the shirt. The curved hem features a kofu patch adding a nice touch.
