- SWEET Öhlins RXF 36 M2 Fork and TTX Air Shock. Whats the difference between this premium suspension and more entry level? This Öhlins Triple chamber fork allows a completely customisable tune, without the need for tokens, and without the time and hassle that can take. Adjust the tune trail side with just a shock pump.
This is the AIR damper but it can easily be changed out by an Öhlins service centre for a coil if you'd like to change.
I got the 160mm travel and 210 x 55 Metric TTX Air Shock. Looking forward to fitting them to the bike!

Runnung the TTX1 on two of my bikes. Love it, damping is sooo good, small bump compliance is better than any air shock ive used. Want the fork... cant afford it lol
You're my favorite electric bike reviewer. I've had an electric bike for the past 8 yrs "BH Easy Motion 29er" and I'm upgrading to the M1 Spitzing R evolution because of your review of the TQ motor a while back. Congrats on the new studio, the space is great but your right it does seem a little dark & dungeon like, maybe that's because I'm from sunny Ft.Lauderdale, Florida and like thing bright. Hey Rob Rides Emtb! I have the only valid excuse available for missing your last livestream! I was riding loamy singletrack on Vancouver Island with my best friend!
I have the first gen on my Levo expert they work well but require loads of maintenance. I have to do the 50 hour lower leg service every 35 hours of riding. It requires a lower leg service kit which Ohlins just doubled the price one yay. I think I’m going to switch to the new Fox forks: also Ohlins is now owned by a once budget suspension company hopefully they don’t introduce cost cutting maybe they are the ones that doubled the maintenance costs?
Mhh, I was about to get a fork, would you suggest to get a different one or is it still worth it. I'm a bike mechanic that has experience with fork servicing and it wouldn't be such a bummer to do them more often. But why do you think they need it more often ?

Love your content Rob, these forks look sick! Just a recommendation for your videos with your camera angle changes, I think we'd like less of your side profile shot (although it's a very handsome profile :P ) and more of either your front shot and more of the product, and your workshop setup, or maybe the marketing footage from the manufacturer / Ohlins, perhaps giving more insight into their manufacturing, history etc.

Nice preview of the Öhlins fork. I am looking forward to your test as I am looking at that particular upgrade at the moment and for me it's either the Öhlins or the Fox 38. But I do like Öhlins having their coil fitted on the rear it has transformed the ride.
Now in your new play pen how to videos would be great and kick it off with fitting of a new fork.
The 38 currently dosnt have any competition, thus superior to this ohlins. Im going 38 for sure!
How heavy is the 38? Might be a consideration. I’ve not checked it out yet 👍
Yeah for sure I know what you mean the 38's have got good reviews but due to lock down nobody has had chance to test them and especially considering that they are roughly the same price as the Öhlins So Rob if can get a pair their's your comparison test. As for weight I recall that they are only 200g more than the 36's
How about this for a cheap exciting upgrade.
Just yesterday tried a £19 Magellan heart rate monitor Bluetoothed to specialize turbo levo's mission control app that controls motor output based on the anticipated elevation gain and your increasing and decreasing heart rate .It feels really good and I really liked it. E=Mtb2
Studio a bit dark maybe you could place a white sheet of corflute under product you zoom in on so it is easier to see. Great work keep it coming.

That probably works a bit better than my Suntour fork...
I like the set. side camera is good as a brake but pos used to much. Kirk Dillon surgestion of hanging bike I like but shadows from the lighting may be a distraction
Sadly the Ohlins forks are not great. They were on the 2018 Turbo Levo S Works, and only for 1 year, I had that bike - the fork was the weakest component.
This is a completely new fork to the one on the 2018 Levo. I also had that fork.
Love the new studio - it may just be me but the side camera looks a bit strange unless you’re looking directly down the camera. It’s possibly just a bit too far back, I think it’d look a bit better if it was closer to being front on (30-40 degrees?) maybe look at other channels to see what angles they use as it’s usually quite a good angle

Great studio Rob. Some observations: On a side view, you are still staring at the camera at the front...... a small point but looking into the camera (side or front) seems more engaging. The second point, the background is very dark so that when you hold up the products of dark colour the clarity isn't optimal. Side on view is not great for showing products, just obscures the view. Not too keen on the dark theme, I get your point about the pirate cave but I guess over time the background will be relevant to your enterprise? Or just to showcase stuff. Sound is great and I like the plant!

You’ve talked about upgrading you’re Levo shock travel.
Now i was wondering if you do that by only changing the shock or do you need to change something else so it doesnt effect the geometry of the bike?

Not long ago upgraded the S-Works 2018 shock to the Öhlins TTX22m to match up with my current RXF36 fork that came standard on it like your expert, having a leaking seal at the moment on the forks(only slightly, not the end of the world) any recommendations on where to get it serviced? Would be good to see a comparison between the old RXF36 and the new M2!
Just purchased the öhlins rxf 36 m.2 air for my Specialised Stuntjumper, did you fit this to your bike, any user reviews on it?

Hello Rob great studio. But I think it's bit too dark... Too much shadows... You need to add lighting... Top camera angle just too much shadows can't really see the forks in detail... I'll just say it.. Prefer you're old spare room..

Tell you the truth I’m more worried about Brose engines blowing up and cassette teeth being grinded and broken off due to the high torque than upgrading the Fork...
2020 Expert Levo with 3 engines replaced after only 4 months of use...
Blazin'Blades i already did around 1000 km with mine and it's working fine. However reading all negative comments I'm also bit worried.... I just hope I'm gonna be lucky one🤞
Have had two 2018 levo's super robust and quietest motor ever total 13000km all good. Just bought 2020 expert as well very nice but a bit noisier no more power than firmware updated 2018 motors .
pay attention and don't splash, coil version have 165mm travel at 1.3 k€
I've noticed that there is no adjustable high speed rebound damping on the externals. Any info on what öhlins did about that regarding braking bumps for example? I didn't find anything for now.

I have a question for you
In this video the Ohlins rear shock that you show us is the TTX 2 Air right? But on the other video that you have on UA-cam, showing the Levo SL already with the ohlins suspensions mounted. It’s not the TTX2AIR that is mounted on the bike. But instead it has the (TTX1Air for specialized). Does that mean I can’t mount the TTX2AIR on my 2021 levo Sl comp carbon??
Please let me know, because the shock that I’m interested in is the TTX2AIR.

Can you fit the front öhlin fork on the kenevo and if so do you think that is good upgrade from the boomber ( dont like that one ) . In the back wich one would you use the coil or air ? cheer for tips
You could fit the 180 to the Kenevo for sure. I’d go coil front and rear on Kenevo
The TTX shock isnt worth an upgrade over the X2 fox. The dials on mine didnt even tell you what they did so you was always forgetting what did what and they barely seemed to do anything of notice either. Sounds like nothing has really changed but some invisible unquantifiable improvements which means it's just the same shock as 3 years ago on the s works enduro
Need some help on the rear sizing for the TTXAIR - Cannondale Habit Neo 2 - this unit seems to come in lots of sizes ? cant seem to work out which one works for my bike - i have figured out the front specification to match 51mm 140mm travel but i don't want to order the incorrect rear ,,, any clues to help > thanks
