What you’re looking for is a list of DX cluster commands and the different sites and how to connect to them? If so, just Google either DX Cluster commands or sites. I’ll put another video together and get it posted soon.
Note.. when you clicked on Worked Before it was empty because you did not have a callsign in the entry box. When you put a callsign into the entry box then you can see if you worked that particular station before in your log. Just wanted to point that out.
Just pick one. You can find one close to you at www.iw5edi.com/ham-radio/3797/dx-cluster-telnet-links#google_vignette - but they all exchange information so which one you use is up to you
So...I have been using cluster information on log4om2 seemingly automatic. What I don't understand is that I once upon a time had the ability to spot someone and now I don't. I have come to realize that you must register with a 'server' or ham that will enable this, but the instructions I received from the ham was not clear in how log4om2 gets changed. I didn't change anything or enter the hams telnet address. I am not even sure where to enter that information. I probably need a basic understanding of how the cluster system works on log4om2 in order to make heads or tails of it so I can have enough knowledge to proceed. Any suggestions??
Log4om doesn’t do anything in this case, but if you register with a given cluster, usually your name, call, and location, then when you connect that cluster with log4om, it will recognize you and you’ll be able to post. I recommend ve7cc as they have a downloadable app where can set things up the way you want.
Hi Tom, Brian De M6OXO ON PARTS 2 & 3 YOUR OUT OF FOCUS on the videos first 5* see all settings and read all text on about the settings OK. But not in videos 2 & 3 Best 73 Brian
Another helpful video. Thank you. I would like to see you do a deep dive on the Log4OM DX Cluster.
Noted!
Interesting overview but where would I go for a step by step intro to DX clusters?

Thanks for the gentle correction.

So how do you select which cluster to use? Is there one specific for the USA? It appears to be working but I am connected to Germany.
