As always loved it! I got these two and the Behringer m1 which from description should all sound relatively close to each other. The 4d is one of the most versatile Ive used, the S1 is great synth, not just inexpensive, the m1 can have any oscillator you want added to it, I love this stuff!
I am one of those weird people who likes the Roland Gaia a lot as a massive poly VA with no menu. I considered buying a spare one when going out of production and didn't. Do you think the SH-4d is a good replacement/improvement for the Gaia?

Both of these units are must haves IMHO! I have several drum machines and samplers hook up to them as well. No midi thru is a problem for me! Lol

Gaia is an amazing synth and cannot be replaced by the SH-4d. The SH-4d could be a great companion, but not a replacement!
