Get a sab 150a controller and a 72v 30ah battery 150a discharge real nice power that for the bike or even a 80a controller and a decent discharge battery
@@Ronkilla My plan for the next version is a 72v 28Ah battery with a Fardriver 80a controller, with 5,700w it should be plenty fast. I had a Sabvoton on my first powerful ebike as you probably know, but I think the Fardriver controllers are better in every way except for how they look.
@Calthecool nice I do like the sab controllers as they have a ukc1 display with them and for Somereason it's more torquey the bike I had sw900 on old bike with sab controller swapped it woth ukc1 its a crazy bike lol fardriver controller are good
@@floppydisk4500 if you felt it you could tell that it’s holding it well enough, if I do build another one I’ll probably make a sheet metal cover that completely surrounds the frame and battery but I didn’t want to do that on this one because it would be hard to remove the battery.
Sounds like exactly what it wants. I'm really impressed by your build overall. I'm trying to do something similar with my e-bike right now. But I'm going to be upgrading to instead of a hub motor I'm going to use a cyc mid drive
you should build like a bigger bike out of like a 450 frame! you could do a qs138 90h and a fardriver with a amorge battery and you could be doing 90 mph+ while having all the suspension and brakes a 450 has, theres one near me for sale and i might buy it.
@@waqas-xs5bn You read my mind, I’ve been looking for a 250/450 roller to buy. The problem is most of the modern bikes have an aluminum frame so I would probably need an aluminum tig welder to fab all the parts, and a decent tig setup is easily over a grand. I could maybe just bolt everything but that could loosen over time and that would be bad. I would definitely build the battery, I have all the materials and skills to build better batteries than amorge for cheaper.
@@Calthecool even a old yz125 pr any 125 2 stroke frame works! they are all the same size so it would work to, qs motors with the 138 90h motor can handle about 45kw peak max, and the 450 coverted one is running about 45.6kw peak or 61hp, it would be sick if you do build one! if you do, when you build one, try to make the battery discharge as much amps as possible, the one near me is running a 76v battery 600amp peak and 400 continuos, its from amorge, and the dude selling it wanted to buy one that they made that did 650 continous and 800 peak.
@@waqas-xs5bn Yeah I'll definitely keep an eye out for those, I would prefer a 250 four stroke/125 two stroke size frame because I like smaller bikes and I would probably only do around 20-25kw because I don't have much experience with powerful dirt bikes and I think that would be plenty for me. My limiting factor right now is the BMS, the most powerful one that I trust right now is 100a continuous 200a 10 sec burst. Everyone online loves to throw around BMS manufacture names when you ask what's good but nobody wants to actually link any listings, and I would like to avoid buying 0 review BMS's off alibaba and gambling with my money.
I would say no because that is underpowered for that bike unless that's not what you want. I think that for the price you should get for emoto the tuttio Soleil01 and for ebike there is a lot of moped fat tyre bikes that are better like the ouxi h9 and even some super73 clones are good but ouxi h9 is advertised 1000w but is 30 mph top speed or 50kmh
It’s really up to you, but personally I wouldn’t want a bike with less than 1500w because at that point the bike would be so slow that you couldn’t ride it anywhere without impeding traffic, unless you only ride on the sidewalk. I know it’s tough finding good bikes in Aus but keep looking and you could probably find something better.
@@954santi the motor was from an Amazon kit, but I got it on marketplace so I don’t know which one it was. It’s just a generic 3000w direct drive motor. The battery is 72v 84v fully charged.
