Great video man!! You are a mad scientist. I was curious
... how would one dyno an airplane 😅.
Thanks man! The cool part is the airplane has its own built in dyno. We just look at the rpm. More RPM=More Power
@@Matt_Sanfordman I need your help on my build
Looks like they had a box full spare exhaust and pieced it together lol
Matt, so what you’re saying because of the pully set up, they would have similar power leaving it NA?
No, I’m saying the airflow the engine consumes is a fixed value due to the pulley size. So a 6.2 and this 416 will make the same power with this combination due to pulley ratio. The 6.2 would just have 10% more boost with the same pulley combo, since the engine is 10% smaller.
oh man I gotta read up on injector pulse width. mine go from 3.5 ms at idle to 19 ms at WOT....i'm guessing there is something wrong with that 🥲
The injector pulse width I was referring to is specific to Direct Injected V8 trucks. The values you are saying are normal for Port Injection trucks. Now if your truck is DI, then you have a problem.
@@Matt_Sanford haha thank you for the reply. I was already diving into the forums getting an ulcer 👍 love your videos
