Nice round. Played Pine Ridge last weekend although it was very cold and breezy and a lot of the greens were like putting on a beach. Nevertheless, I really love this course, lots of interesting holes (especially on the back 9) and I think one of the best bang-for-your-buck courses West of London. Keep up the great content! 👍
Played my first full round here ,just over 30 yrs ago ! Hasn't really changed much ,far as I can remember ,somewhat ironically the greens were always hollow-tined and/or sanded pretty much every time I played it lol.... Nice vlog btw ,enjoyed watching it . Saw the Billingbear one just before this,played there 30 yrs ago too ,that's changed a bit more . There was some old farmer type running it from a Portakabin ....
Thanks Matt, always great to hear people’s stories about the courses on my channel, really appreciate it, oh really? It’s not far past that to be honest, there is an old lady who lives on the corner who always watches out over the par 3 so I wonder if that is the same portakabin?
@@Gimme_tv Could well be , it was on the left in a stony car park , is there a clubhouse now ? This old farmer type was a nice bloke but obsessed with players having a pitchmark repairer ,going so far as to make me and my mate drive to Downshire to get one ! Your list of videos is like a resume of my early golfing years 🤔🤣.
Lovely stuff, I played this 10 months ago, so I would imagine it would be similar, I have know pine ridge to have temp greens when it’s rained lots as greens get water logged, hopefully not for you! Best of luck! Subscribe if you enjoyed :)

I enjoy your videos - particularly this one as used to play here with my father-in-law for years, and it’s one of my faves. The 15th is a great hole. I’m curious why you only took a one shot penalty for a lost ball there, though. Surely even in a friendly ‘gimme’ type game, you should add two shots (stroke AND distance), so your “second” shot - which you counted as your third - should have been your fourth. No?

I enjoy Pine Ridge. Quick question: your shot tracer at 5:30 seemed to go right, but the next shot looks like you're playing from the left side into that 5th green?
Great course! Haven’t played there in years, yeh depending on the light, sometimes it doesn’t trace the ball and just goes off on one! I’ve learned that I can manually set the line so it doesn’t happen anymore :)
When in good nick I think Pine Ridge is a great course for the low teen handicapper. Have not played there in years though. Looks like a rebuild going on.
Tough one, I played badgemore park yesterday, that was up there, and it was £22! Otherwise Burnham beeches, haven’t played it in years but defo on the list this summer, you?

Yeh they weren’t the best when I played it, usually they are perfect though!
