Ah lovely! Well it was a bit of a slog when we played because it had been raining lots so was boggy but in summer it should be a breeze, it’s a gorgous course to walk, not the easiest not the hardest, hope that helps!

@@Gimme_tv they are definitely expensive, that’s true. First week they go to winter rates, the courses are still usually in good condition - and you can chip a bit off that. But still, it’s a bit tough on the wallet

I have found a little gem of a course, I think your way, Studley Wood Golf course, worth playing if you get a chance (I’d say it isn’t a winter course!)

It was heaven! The whole course was amazing, best I’ve played to date, yeh thankfully we moved our tee times forward an hour otherwise we would have had 6/7 holes of that!

Couldn’t agree more, me and my mates always complain about it, West Hill was immaculate, every tee box was impeccable!

@@Gimme_tv I can put up with dodgy greens depending on the time of year, bunkers are always hit and miss but bloody bad tee boxes I cannot abide by. It literally decides whether I go back to a course again or not. I'm ranting but it is really annoying. This game is difficult enough.

@gerrykelly2440 yeh no I completely agree Gerry, it should be a minimum requirement tbh, everything else is a lot more work, rolling a tee box seems basic to me!

Yeh we noticed it as we were walking round, bloody expensive though! Looks like but there are other courses that are better value for me at the moment, definitely one for the future though!

@@Gimme_tv Try Stockwood Park near Luton airport next time you go up that way. They do some good twilight deals there. A public golf course but well looked after, some really good holes on it.

@gerrykelly2440 yeh I’ve seen that one on golfnow, I don’t mind some public courses most are in better nick that some non public ones!

@@Gimme_tv You'll definitely find Stockwood Park GC interesting. I believe its been under attack by the powers that be to sell if off to developers. So you might want to play it as soon as you can.
