Using modern tools to make modern wires and then busts out a box of matches for the heat shrink 😂

What size crimp connectors are those? Not sure which ones to buy. I’m using 20AWG wire.

Has an expensive crimper tool but no money for a heat gun.

2 things. That crimper is like 40 bucks and no one has matches. Show us how to crimp without tool.

You don't. If you don't have a crimping tool then you should just buy readymade connectors.

I notice you do everything possible to hide showing the results of your insulator and conductor crimps (which means you've probably Freddy Krueger'd them), you don't say what series of JST connector you are using (PH, XH?) Or what tool you are using. Smh, nothing useful in this short.
