Tennis is and never will be the same without Serena. I've tried watching this younger generation playing the game, and I just don't feel it. I know these younger players will never measure up to 23 grandslams and they do play hard, but for me, it's not the same. I think a lot of us truly do miss Serena. Great interview.
It's not that they'll never reach 23... maybe one of them will, but it's the level of the game that's pretty low... No rivalries, no great stories, no great matches. On the men's side, it's way better, but on the women's side there's nothing to watch. That's a shame because generations of players fought hard to have equal prize money... and now I feel it just created an environment where players (their team and coaches especially...) just care about winning lots of money without being stressed too much... and no one really cares about making history or be the best. The SF of a Grand slam and millions from Barilla or anyone else are just fine. I don't remember a single match that was memorable in the last 3 years. I'd rather watch Kim, Justine, Lindsay, Maria, Jennifer, Hingis, Serena, Venus... Nothing against Swiatek or Rybakina or Krejikova but where are the great matches?!
@@milvao3400 they had a big issue about she is the best. John had said that if she played a man who is 100 rate she would still lose no matter what. Fact. She might be good but all the steroids she took is wrong. Look it up she took massive drugs. I’ll bet you did not even know her sister killed someone while she ran a stop sign. Evil is evil does. Her sister literally killed a person just because she was in a hurry and ran a stop sign. Fact. Drugs and money and drugs!!!
@Novak D Sharapova never used “roids”. Serena on the other hand used PEDs on at least 10 different occasions during a 5 year period, some of them actual anabolic steroids.
😭😭😭
Unique ❤
I love my sister!
I missed Serena, Tennis 🎾 is not the same 😢
She's such a beautiful, strong, and gentle woman. 🙏🏼🇯🇲
@H what's the difference? Enlighten me.
@H Thank you. I'm learning.
We all remember fondly her gentleness back at the OSO in 2009, 2011 and 2018!
And how she gently told us, "I'm a great person - on-court and off-court!"
Great interview. Serena is very authentic and kind. She really adds value to a conversation, especially with regards to health.😊
Whoever did Serena for this interview did an awesome job.
Hey Cuz😊, Keep representing and bringing awareness to real issues. You are more then a great tennis player. Your an amazing mom and woman. My dad who was a Navy Vet loved you and Venus so much. We would watch your matches together. He passed in 2020 at the height of Covid at 94. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.
If Serena has one fan, I am one of them. Thank you for everything Queen
I think Serena has dozens of fans!
Tennis without Serena is just....meeeeh . I miss her so much!!!
Great interview. She's very inspirational. Glad she was able to bring some medical information to light. Unbelievable that someone would get less treatment for pain because of their skin color. I hope this helps that change.
When did she get less treatment because of her skin color?
@@carrerau7138 Black people is treated that way in every medical treatment so pls keep quiet if youre not black
You missed where she said that led students were trained to give treatment by colour? You also obv never watched her documentary. But here you are, a grown ma, trolling comments smh
*med students
@@carrerau7138 medical research states that people of color get inferior medical care even if they have insurance. She also stated that she complained about headaches for years before they diagnosed her with migraines!
FIRST LET ME JUST SAY NORA O'DONNELL HAS GAINED A NEW FAN SHE'S SO ENDEARING AND SEEM TO REALLY ENJOY HER WORK! SERENA WILLIAMS IS AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, AND INTELLIGENT SHE AND HER SISTER VENUS WILL FOREVER BE MY FAVORITES I REALLY HATE THAT SHE'S NO LONGER PLAYING TENNIS BUT VERY HAPPY FOR HER AS WELL!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I miss Serena on the tennis court sooooo much
Love her as ever.
Hopely she come back on tennis, miss her
Serena you are an inspiration to me and thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
That was a really good interview miss you Serena
Thank you for raising awareness for Mom care ❤ Two beautiful women ❤
We all care for moms!
Serena you are the GOAT and very good at what you do as an athlete a business woman and family life all in one. You are Awesome and keep up the good work. 🙌👍👏💪💞🙏
She’s an all time great for sure but not the GOAT. There are other more successful female players like Graf, Navratilova and Court. She is more in the Evert and Wills category, just below the top 3 of all time.
Yes the GOAT of women's tennis.
My all time favourite tennis player ❤
Welcome you Serena Williams 🎉🎉🎉
She’s right!!! Some Drs think people of colour have a better level of pain tolerance and that’s horrible . I had a personal experience in a very critical situation .
Maybe because blacks in Africa had to fight against lions and such whereas in Europe people had to fight only wild boars?
I am about to start my first LLC and would be excited to partner with you. You are always such a piece of art 🖼 and an amazing inspiration.
U R truly a Champion Serena
I would love for her to do more black media like interviews and stuff
I don't understand what race got to do with any interview l think whoever reach out to her and is not conflicting with her work and will promote what she believes in she will do .
@@aishaumar5393 because I want to see her get interview by more black they will bring something else out of her like the breakfast club or something different is that a problem ?
She married a white male. Why would she go on black media platforms?
Star icon power vibes🤗
Serena looks amazing!!!!! Love the hair!!!!
.....But she needs to STOP messing w her face! She's starting to look like a mask.
Awesome interview❤
I completely lost interest in tennis once she retired. Djokovic and Nadal are the only players left to care about.
The same happened to me buddy
Same here, I have been following non-stop since 2002, especially women's tennis. Now there's nothing to watch, no competition, no great personalities, no rivalries, no great matches. Even the prestige of some tournaments has disappeared. I completely lost interest. Men's tennis is a little bit better, but the transition between the old gen and the next gen could have been way more interesting. If Serena had decided not to retire last year and train a little bit, this year she would have had a shot at all 4 grand slams, because there's no competition.
@@milvao3400 nothing to watch. Pure truth
Tennis is so much better without her. The sport finally has moved on from the drama, and not everything revolves around Serena.
@@jkscout agree. Never liked Serena at all, so full of herself
Glad she came back to the truth and got baptized.
COME ON! 💪🏽
One of my favorite sports because of the Williams sisters! 😉❤💯❤💯💯💯✨️
Love this interview!!! Serena is great!!!
Serena is beautiful, a great sport woman the interview been interesting and intelligent good

Thanks Person to Person for asking Serena about her migraine journey. Migraine is a neurological disease that affects millions.

Great interview.
A strong woman is a woman who put Jehovah first. Jesus second. Jehovah alone is the only true God. The man is the woman head. Only a woman of the true God understand that.
But Jesus was God's son.

Let this be a lesson to us all. This happened 4 years ago, so be careful how you act in public cause the internet CEMENTS your foolishness and never lets you forget.
I only watched tennis because of Serena and Venus. I haven't watched since her evolvement away from the sport.
What do you mean by "evolvement away"?
She seems a little sad nowadays...it must be very hard after the lifetime of tennis amazingness is over
She’s sad because she wanted to become the GOAT but instead ended up being one of the 3-4 greatest players ever. Still a great achievement but her ego was never satisfied.
she's living a deceptive and demonic lie. That would really wear on a person with any kind of conscience.
@@akizaizinskii Serena is a GOAT to people who love her just like how you're a huge fan of Steff and she's a GOAT as well. They only played during two different eras that's all but they were both good
@@N.e.n.e.z But neutral fans widely say that Steffi is the GOAT.
My tennis life without Serena is a nightmare. Tennis has lost its flavour Just the other day one would wait patiently to see Serena. I don't know but the future of this young Gen don't cut it for me with the exception of a few they are too hyped and full of what I don't know.. Similarly when Rafa retires mi nuh know wa fi do for Novack full a himself and is Deceiver Frankly he disguises me with his lying talk about 3cm Hamstring tear. omw, what a lie. These set is not anout the passion of tennis is who can beat who and the hyped. smh
Whoever did that wig should be fired.
Amie 🎉
What happend with her eyes???
"I read people well"

I wonder if there will be another US woman..or perhaps woman period.....that will be at the top of the game for such a long period of time
It seems most women dont make it past 3-5 years at the top. Serena was there for 15 years
Je suis nul en anglais 🎉
Je vous souhaite une bonne chance 😂❤️😂
When did the excessive use of saying "super" before a word or phrase come into play ... Geesh ... I'm super super super super super tired of it lol ... Anyway great interview and she's a legend. Thank you Serena, America is proud but especially us as black people. ❤🙏🏾
You're right, it's an oddly tennis thing to use the word super instead of 'very'. I think it translates better in French or German speaking players' heads as they can match it to their own equivalent. Then it caught on and Russian and Polish and Spanish and then finally English speaking players started doing it.
I agree. Adults shouldn't being saying "super" before everything. Just say whatever it is without using super. Leave it for the youngsters.

Why would anyone be embarrassed about having migraine? I tend to have it when I get a sinus infection. Which is not life threatening.
Suck it up and deal with it!
How about we all just stop pretending we don’t see what’s painfully obvious.
What is the obvious?

Le film
The Lia Thomas of 'her' sport.
Difference being that Serena is a woman and Thomas a dude.
She hasn't mention her husband only about her daughter what's up with that?
Also she never answered the question about another sibling for her daughter
Do she find time for her husband? She doesn't elaborate too much on her husband in her interviews but her daughter she does
Somethings must be left out, she likes her privacy as she’s been such a public figure as a tennis player
@Elizabeth C I agree marital status and stuff like that is very personal I'm sure they're doing fine 😂
She did mentioned her husband when she was asked about the animals.
She responded to the questions she was asked. Apparently this interview was about migraines and how little people know about them.
👋I hope Serena's Memoir includes how She will be forever grateful to Her Father for not buying into the JW doomsday craziness. EXACTLY because of that She achieved GREATNESS.
Allez
Allez
Allez 😀😂🎉
She was such a great player. Not the GOAT for me as she let herself down on the Court on a handful of occasions that has blighted her legacy for me. But at her peak, she was a beast.
It's called being human mr.perfect She still is the GOAT
@@dawnaustin2385 Margaret Court and especially Steffi Graf were well-behaved and still human.

I thought she is Jehovah Witness now, Jehovah Witness in life stories will say I don’t miss the career I had before in the worldly world. It was Satan’s system of things. Why did she say she miss her career? And why is she doing boxing that was shown on introduction, we JW are taught never to do boxing!?
Na época ela não tinha tomado posição ao lado de Jeová?
She still has much to do in the way of spiritual growth. The brothers let her take that first step and hopefully she can be a great example for others someday.
I definitely use to have bad migraines in highschool the doctor told me it was because I was dehydrated
Btw I haven't had one in years
So you were dehydrated?
As great as Serena is …I feel like her biggest insecurity is Beyoncé….as it comes across that she tries soooo hard to act exactly like her I.e. the laugh, her body language. Serena just be happy you don’t need to act like anyone else. Just be happy with you!
I hope she doing d2d, cart witnessing or zoom. I mean getting baptized ain't just for show. This real life. Already lived it up in hollywood, now in line for the real blessings don't think you gon slide by on celeb status 😒😒
Why can't she just say she has retired from competitive pro tennis!!?? And has evolved into other aspects of her life!!??....GEEZ!! She is annoying in that aspect like if saying that will make her less or something!! Just say no more pro tennis, raise your family & count your millions!!! MOVE ON!!! SMH
@Eric Lopez
Would you be surprised if she came back to the court?..
Because she can say whatever she wants… gosh annoying ( u)
@@turnneShe still hasn't won the Mixed Doubles titles at the Australian Open and French Open she could come back to play Doubles and Mixed Doubles
@@turnne Oh, yes!
And then getting double-bageled by Iga!!
@@carrerau7138 And how do their trophy rooms and total wins compare to each other?...LOL
She had headaches, NOT MIGRAINES! BULL!
Are you her doctor? Your comment is so stupid! 🤡
Huh? U have problems..
And you know this how?🤔🤔🤔
I understand why you would say that. Having endured migraines since I was 17 and I'm 52 now, everyone's pain tolerance is different. I have a very low tolerance for pain, so I definitely couldn't have played tennis with a migraine...the sunlight, the noise, smells, nausea, and dizziness. But athletes are on a different level and play through all kinds of injuries/pain to win.
What a narcissist.
