    This yoga was so good I didn’t even notice it was 20 mins long usually I get bored easily but this was amazing I could feel my back, abs and arms working.

She really is good at explaining the "why" behind her various techniques, which really pulls you in to understand the fascinating flow that is Yoga!

    As for what my body needs - the best yoga teacher on this channel. I liked Jen too though, but I found her routines somewhat not too much challenging for me (I assume for some viewers this level may be suitable). With Julia I made much more progress in terms of keeping my body strong and healthy.

    Ah yes just what I need, it looks really nice in Texas wish I was there, its (literally) freezing where I live! I like the mixture of breath meditation with yoga movement, Im not as good as you Julia but I interpret your movements :)

    I am on Day 6 of Yoga for Weight Loss. I have never done Yoga before and realize I will make progress and EVENTUALLY be perfect(?). Julia gives me the confidence that I can do this.

    This session was amazing but my wrists are in a lot of pain I will have to do some type of warmup for them tomorrow. Fingers crossed that I didn’t pull any muscles in my wrists 🤞

      Spread your fingers wide and put your weight on your entire hands, palms and fingers, so your weight won't be on your wrists.

    I'm 66 yrs. old. Made me very very dizzy! My doctor recommended yoga for back pain.

      Remember to take long breaths in and out. If the practice gets too much, go into child's pose. I get dizzy every time I hold my breath or tighten up and forget to breath.

      @@paulalim1476 no worries! You can also just take a break whenever it gets uncomfortable. Yoga is about listening to your body, after all. Just get out of the pose and steady your breath. Hope your back pain is getting better 🙌

      Jo Fearn Everyone burns different amounts of calories depending on what shape we’re in. Also this is an Intro to Power yoga so not as intense as the upcoming Power Yoga workouts but will definitely get you sweating!

      leen Ananzeh When the body is busy cleansing, it needs all its energy for that. When ill, no yoga, no fasting. Just mindful breathing and maybe meditation
