Voles took a huge bite out of mine the first two or so years. Thankfully, it rallied & looks beautiful now. How large at maturity?

Thank you! I don’t have a video on dwarf Japanese maples yet. But sounds like it would be a good one to do!

Thanks for the info. I'd like to know how deep is this plant? I have a long border but it's only 3' deep, would this plant fit?

It will get wider than the 3ft border. Mine are pushing 4 ft wide and not fully mature yet.

@@briandaniels4 Oh pooh! Thanks so much for your timely reply. I guess I'll have to with the Sprinter or North Star boxwood.

@@briandaniels4 But this is only if you're not pruning it to remain smaller, correct?

Hello from Epping Forest in the UK.
I have a small one (a 2ft round ball shape) of these bought very recently and I’d like to give it a haircut to tighten the shape. Have you clipped yours before specifically for shape?
    Thanks in advance.

Hello from North Carolina! I’ve never pruned mine. This past Christmas I did cut some greenery from it for Christmas decorations. Like any conifer, you don’t want to cut it back hard because it will not lead back out from those cuts. But tip pruning should be ok. Just make sure there’s plenty of green below the cut and make sure your pruners are clean and sanitized to prevent spreading disease.
