That last sentence is kind of important. Countless videos on the Nitrogen issue. I thought the wood would decompose into the soil and steal the nitrogen. I had like 8 tree stumps ground up so I have a decent amount of wood chips, but it's all mixed with soil and roots and branches. I just left it in a heap in very back of yard by a fence. I did some serious labor raking and shoveling out the wood parts as best I could, from the areas I wanted to grass, to get it to the back into that heap. I am curious how long it will take for the heaps to become soil. I thought I would need to add greens and food scraps and turn it. If decomposes naturally, that would be great.

I love this shrub, which we have plant in the corner of our garden box at the end of our house, and where it get plenty of sunshine. Do you have a link to the pruning tool are you using? What time of year is the best for pruning the Sunshine Ligustrum? We are also in North Carolina. I did do a good pruning a ocuple of months ago, and it came back nicely, so I guess I didn't hurt it! I just need to remember to water it. Mine is growing upward.

I use Felco II bypass pruners. I prefer to prune in late winter to early spring but I will judiciously prune up until early August in our climate

I bought this Grill. I had a Task Rabbit assemble mine😂. It took him 2.5 hours. He was on my rooftop deck stretched out on his back going to Town. I said to myself "Mighty Jesus, bless his heart". I had planned on assembling it myself. But when I took it out of the box. It was soo many pieces. It was a LOT of pieces. I said no sirrrr. Its been assembled a week. Im going to use it today. It looks like a really nice and sturdy grill. Good quality.

Hard to say. They do like medium moisture and don’t like to dry out. Perhaps the plants aren’t getting enough water. Check the soil w your finger and see if it feels damp.

Keep it out of the wind because with wind damage after pruning the leaves come back very tiny and very slow growth

I had pork chops and chicken breasts on mine this week. Really like this model but.... Make sure you cover it. Mine is just a couple years old and exposure to rain allowed the ledge holding the ash tray to rust out. My oversight. I will most likely buy another one, and a cover this time. All the vents allow you to really keep the temp steady. The adjustable coal bed is pretty effective

Ha!! I found you! It was watching this video that convinced me to purchase Sunshine Ligustrums. I planted them February of 2023 in Western Washington (8a). They grew beautifully all last summer, made it through the winter although they didn't really turn back to green. Now (May 2024) they are all but completely bare. They started loosing leaves in March, I did some research and found I needed to up the PH level. This stopped the leave from falling and new leaves were just beginning to develop. Now all the leaves are falling off. I saw dozens of people commenting on the Houzz website forum about the same exact thing. Help?

As a tool nerd just getting into gardening I think bahco is owned by the Stanley-blackanddecker group which also owns facom wich still makes its pliers in France, maybe bahco uses facom's plier factory? I don't see why else a Swedish company would produce its tools in France. Just a thought, if anyone knows better I'll gladly be corrected
