You can't. That make is made specifically in lieu of the Room mics as shown in the video. It kind of just takes the ambience and helps liven up your mix. If you want to communicate with musicians, you need to set up a separate talkback mic for each musician, and route it to the ME-1 unit.
Thanks much. First look, for me. Haven't yet gotten my hands on the real unit. I understand there is an ability to "save to USB" as well. Multiple of us, over different weeks, will be using one unit. I'm not sure I want to save my own preset into "Conga" when others will want to use it with their own mixes. Comment assist?
Hey, I lead worship for a church in Lakeland, FL and we got these along with the GLD 80 not too long ago. I have been going back and forth trying to find out if there is a way to put our reverb effect in a channel on the ME-1 so that my voice won't feel as dry. Do you know if this is possible?
On the QuApp go to the mapping section and you can route any FX return to the ME-1 output monitor. The screen should look like this: www.allen-heath.com/media/Qu-Pad-IO-Patch.png@@isaacmukalazi
Hi! Thanks for the tutorial - quick question: say I play bass and save a preset to the ME. Are the presets saved just on that specific unit, or does it transfer to all your connected ME's?
Thang Lian Cin yeah there are just for Allen&Heath but if you Yamaha is digital then you should be able to use Avioms which are essentially the same as me ME systems
churches makes the best tutorials for sound stuff
Excellent tutorial.
I like the fact that you can have up to 40 inputs.
Weldone. Love from Nigeria.
One question, please.
How can musicians use the local mic to communicate?

Nice job laying this out for us! Thank you!
Love these things.
That has some nice features. I like the preset naming and the group level controls. Have you guys tried the A360 from Aviom?
How many channels there can be in one group?
How do I adjust the level for the aux in (Female 1/8“ jack) you can plug into the back of the ME -1
How do you turn the volume up on the aux input on the back of the ME1?

Save on several unclaimed preset channels to avoid USB and write it out by hand as an extra backup so that you can quickly recreate your mix.
Thanks for the info. Can you EQ each channel separately like the Behringer unit? I suspect it’s only an overall master EQ which is a shame.
What about personal presets for different people to get their saved mixes?
Save in several unused storage presets and write it out by hand as an extra backup so that you can quickly recreate your mix.

+Matt Gross Yes, you can route the FX return of any channel or group to the ME-1.

Just to the specific unit, I think.
You didn’t cover the limiter in case there’s a real bad feedback to prevent hearing damage.
Is this only work on Allen & Heath mixer? Because I have Yamaha MGP32X.

So nice but so expensive...
Cheaper then buying a new IEM transmitter and receiver. And much more powerful.
Yes I need help with my Allen and heat me 1
