Hi quick question, how can I record what my band practices into my phone recording app? What cable or set up would I need and where to connect it on the ME1.
Hey there! The ME-1 itself just has the mono output for line level audio. If you wanted to use this, you could run something like the iRigProIO, which would give you a mono input into your phone. Any TRS ¼’ cable would work great for that. If you wanted to record a stereo signal, you could look at the iRigProDuoIO to run into your phone. Of course, this just depends on what gear you’re using in your setup. I’m assuming you have some sort of Allen and Heath mixer that you’re running into the ME-1 currently? Hello, myrrhphonic6474! Great question! The signal is pre fader but the input gain does impact the signal. Think of this box just like controlling your own aux mix on the console but remotely! psm300 is a wireless in ear monitoring system. it's only used as a wireless monitor from an aux send at the console. the me-1 is a personal monitoring system that gives you individual control over your mix. it is wired. what i've done in the past is taken the output of the ME-1 and put it INTO the psm300 to give our front line wireless personal mixers. keep our FOH engineer from having to constantly be changing each singers mix.
Very small detail, but an OLED screen is not backlit at all. OLED screens have self-illuminating pixels, not a backlight.
