Quick Dive Before Work | Spearfishing Gold Coast

Cool dive🤙 I rekon they should change the dive flag colours to red/? , as divers know and are aware but weekend warriors dont pay much attention

That's probably not a bad idea! At least a colour that stands out a bit more.. I might look at mounting my flag a bit higher next time so it is more visible

Love your videos man.
It’s worth towing a little float if you’re solo diving. Even with a flag on your boat.
I dive solo a lot and with a float it’s much better. Much safer too just diving wise when solo.

I’m genuinely curious, I’m about to get into spear fishing, purchased a bunch of beginner gear and going out next week.
Don’t really know anyone that does it and want to check out the seaway or Burleigh headland. You reckon solo is all good or should I hit up a fb page and try to find a dive buddy

Hey mate! If it’s your first time, I’d recommend to go with someone. Makes it a whole lot safer and more enjoyable as well. There’s a couple good local FB groups you could chuck a post up, I’m sure someone would be keen
