      Thanks, Luis. This was one of my first videos. Way too long, but I'm glad people still like it, despite the conceptional flaws. It's my second most viewed video.
      Did you change over to hybrid picking or do you play fingets only. You play an acoustic guitar, if I remember correctly.

      @@GuitarversumSandraSherman Hi Sandra! I had seen the video before and I’ve always liked it but, at the time, I was not posting any comments. Actually, your channel is the only one that I have posted comments on. I’m now reviewing your older videos to remember what I learned from them. I’m so grateful to you for teaching me so much. I still have a lot of room for improvement and I wish that someday I’ll be able to play at least a fraction of the way you do. I use mostly my fingers and I have tried the hybrid picking but I need to practice much more because it does not sound as good as it should. I’m always amazed at the way you do it because it sounds so sweet and gentle. You are the best!

    Hi Sandra! Thank you for some really great, enjoyable instructional videos~!~ I am a big fan of the warm, and heartfelt jazz/pop standards, such as Misty. I like your choice of full chords for Misty, which are in my opinion, needed to convey the intentional "warmth" of the melody of this classic of classics! Many players tend to forget that,, and thin-out the song, by playing thinner, lighter chords,, and tend to also speed up this beautiful song to the point of literally changing the song almost completely!!! Turning it into a bebop tune, which is the choice of the player,, almost completely robs the song of it's value. So,,, I applaud you for keeping the song authentic, and beautiful,,, just as Errol Garner envisioned his work of art,, and,, he wrote it the year of my birth, which I just learned now, as I write~!~!~!~

    Im attempting this with a 25.5 scale guitar...does it really make a difference/easier with 24.75 gibson type scale?

    • @GuitarversumSandraSherman
      @GuitarversumSandraSherman  2 роки тому

      Doesn't make a difference. It depends slat you feel comforting with and what you're used to. If you have small hands like me, a Gibson scale length feels bettet.

    hi am Sandra from Brazil and I'd like to buy the the tab of mysty, love your arrengement, but it seems necessary to buy also a program. Can you help me with this issue? Thnx, congrats

      No, you don't need a program. Just buy the PDF Tab, not the Guitar Pro Tab. PDFs can be owned with the free Acribat PDF reader, that's usually on every computer or phone.

    Outstanding lesson. Thanks very much. I was tinkering with chording the first 3 intro notes. I see you just hitting the G with your little finger. I was playing Bb7, G-7b5 and Ebmaj7. Which G chord is best? Just curious.

    • @GuitarversumSandraSherman
      @GuitarversumSandraSherman  6 років тому

      The Intro notes are above a virtual Bb7 chord. Gm would make it a Bbmaj chord. You could play a simple Bb13 chord or Bb13#11 instead.
