great review dude....,i got the ssr4 last x-mas,1.4-1.6 version.....but,i got only 10 shots per sec on full auto out of the box,or do i have to change the gears mechanism?
Should be faster than that man. 10 rps is slow like its meant to be about 18 I think. You don't have to change anything internally to get that it should just be that speed. Are you sure it is 10? Did you check it with a chrono?
the novritsch ssr4 is exactly the same internally as the lancer tactical gen 3. diffence is lancer tactical has a handguard with a full picatinny top rail and is a polymer gun , lancer tactical is cheaper also.
@@FOXGREENI'm at one click of buying the SSR4, because it allows the F stamp (F im Fünfeck) and semi only, so under German legislation, I searched all over the internet but lancer tactical sadly doesn't make that F stamp, so I think SSR4 would be better in term of legality..?
So snipers are generally spring guns but you can get gas ones also. I'd recommend a spring one always however. Also all electric guns also have a spring in them to shoot too but the difference is a motor pulls the spring back to shoot where as in a sniper you pull it back with your hand when you cock the bolt instead.
They are a similar price point t I'd you get the metal SSR4 but I'd you get the polymer external the nov one is cheap which may appeal to some people more. I think I'd still get the nov one because it has a programmable mosfet and opening it up doesn't void warranty 🙂 there isn't much in it really though. I do love the fact nov sell every spare part you can imagine for all of his guns also that's a big selling point.
@@FOXGREEN but i hear from guys that are fixing airsoft guns that i should stay away from programable mosfets because they brake all the time. Is it true?
Hello my friend can you tell me which hop up is suitable from the maxx model models for the ssr4, which one would you choose for this weapon and if it will also need an adapter
I didn't install a maxx hop so I don't know which would work. I added a maple leaf bucking and a pantera flat nub after this video, and that's all I did to make it better.
It's less than 1 joule. For the UK try the 0.9 to 1.2. Its has a quick xhanhe spring so easy to cut a coil and reinsert if needed. That's won't ruin the warranty also 😉

@@dtox1283v What is your FPS / JOULE cointry/site limit to be able to reach consistent 70 metres? And what have you swapped out? Hopup, bucking, barrel?
Can you set the magazine capacity to your exact mag capacity, or do you have to just use the nearest preset figure on the device? I was looking at this or the Tachyon Electronics model with a built in 3 axis magnetic compass, tilt sensor and real time clock.
So on 1 joule its getting a flat trajectory out to 65 meters on 0.32 gram bbs so not bad you will get more on 1.3 and 1.6 joules though if you can use those powers where you play
Mine is 1.2 joules.out of the box 60mtrs max with 0.28.last game i tried maple leaf 6.03 with MR hop 70* using 0.32 and yes i got 75 to 80 mtrs with no problem.this gun is already great out of the box.

Get a lower power spring f or take out the spring which is easy and cut a coil or more depending on how much you need to reduce the power then test it again.
Uo to 0.27g bbs your fine man if you want heavier I woukd just change the bucking and get a flat nub is all. If you stick with 0.2 g don't worry about it. I just like shooting heavey bbs for accurary
I just got one of those to work on they shoot like 💩 with the standard bucking nub and barrel. Bucking & barrel full of grease. Wouldn't life the BBS even with a good clean. Flat hop rubber and nub is better. Few other issue with it.

Use an 11.1 lipo instead of a 7.4 lipo then your rate of fire will be much faster 😉
@@FOXGREEN i have a 11.1 lipo
Should be faster than that man. 10 rps is slow like its meant to be about 18 I think. You don't have to change anything internally to get that it should just be that speed. Are you sure it is 10? Did you check it with a chrono?
good! do you think the german semi automatic version of the ssr4 will work as a dmr?
Yes it technically can't do full auto so I don't see why nit but it can only handle 1.6 joules max so keep that in mind
the novritsch ssr4 is exactly the same internally as the lancer tactical gen 3. diffence is lancer tactical has a handguard with a full picatinny top rail and is a polymer gun , lancer tactical is cheaper also.
Don't think it has a programmable mosfet does it? Maybe. The piston head also is Novs own design on this one. Different gear ratios also.
Nice video, best review! Did you get the
I got the less than 1 joule version. The teacher I think is by acetech it comes with the peq box also
@@FOXGREEN Thank you! I will buy using your link, soon.. Cheers..
What is that system for target shooting at Hobby Airsoft in Dublin? Sweet.
I dont know what it's called but you can buy a big one like this or a small one from them but they are expensive enough 🙂
They're called a Cybergun Interactive Shooting System.
Also called a SMT (Smart Monitor Target).
I have a question about snipers I’m thinking of getting one are they gas electric or spring guns?
So snipers are generally spring guns but you can get gas ones also. I'd recommend a spring one always however. Also all electric guns also have a spring in them to shoot too but the difference is a motor pulls the spring back to shoot where as in a sniper you pull it back with your hand when you cock the bolt instead.
@@FOXGREEN thanks I might get a spring bolt sniper
Would you pick this gun or cyma platinium?
Not a bad oul video mate. And yes very rattly gun indeed..will blend in nicely with all the rattling kit 😂
Thanks 😉 nothing that a little bit of DIY won't fix in a few minutes 🙂
The chrono test was thet the bersion 1,5j ?
Yes but I down grade then to 1 joule for my field limited
@@FOXGREEN do u think with the 1.5j no hop up with 0.30g i can get under the 1.2 cuz i bulgaria they test it like this ant the limis is 1,2j
Maybe but hard to know just cut the spring or replace it and you can get the power down in 15 minutes
What joule version is this?
It's less than 1 joule. For the UK try the 0.9 to 1.2. Its has a quick xhanhe spring so easy to cut a coil and reinsert if needed. That's won't ruin the warranty also 😉
@@FOXGREEN Okay thank you so much.
@FOX GREEN its like my hop stops working and then starts again..
Did you try another mag out of intrest? Try that first if not then I'd open up the hop up maple replace the bucking incase it torn
@@FOXGREEN it was bucking and ssr 4 works great. Thank you.
Glad to hear it's sorted
@@FOXGREENone more time tnx for helping. I have efective range at 70 plus meters. Yesterday was mil sim forest and plain areas..with no problem 70 m multiple hits ( i have used my range meter also to mesure markers and it was 71.5 m) I had 23 hits at that range with 0.32 bb (no wind, temp 30.1 C diferent angels and positions that streach for 40 m in line. It was great and really demanding event and my replica preformed perfect..ok It s not like my 416 aeg full upgrade, but for the money it is omg.
@@dtox1283v
What is your FPS / JOULE cointry/site limit to be able to reach consistent 70 metres?
And what have you swapped out? Hopup, bucking, barrel?
What is the founder counter you have and how does it work?!?!
Xcortech the peq Bix and tracer come as a package
Can you set the magazine capacity to your exact mag capacity, or do you have to just use the nearest preset figure on the device?
I was looking at this or the Tachyon Electronics model with a built in 3 axis magnetic compass, tilt sensor and real time clock.
Yes you can 🙂
30 feet...what's the max range on the puppy though
So on 1 joule its getting a flat trajectory out to 65 meters on 0.32 gram bbs so not bad you will get more on 1.3 and 1.6 joules though if you can use those powers where you play
@@FOXGREEN that's damn good for an aeg
Mine is 1.2 joules.out of the box 60mtrs max with 0.28.last game i tried maple leaf 6.03 with MR hop 70* using 0.32 and yes i got 75 to 80 mtrs with no problem.this gun is already great out of the box.
What’s the fps on this? And what is the tracer called?
1 jouke os 328 fps on 0.2g bbs and its an xcortech tracer
I have an urging question, is the rifle 76 cm with an extended stock? I was told it was a collapsed stock...
I would have to measure it my guess is that would be collapsed
What hopup mod do you recommend? I’m new to this and looking at buying the ssr4
I changed the bucking to a maple leaf and then installed a pantera flat nub that's it made a big difference
@@FOXGREEN brilliant thanks! I will most definitely look into this
Which Maple Leaf?
Silicone, Mr, Auto, Decepticon etc and hardness?
Does it, come with the battery?
No I am afraid not like most airsoft guns
What barrel, hop up unit and bucking would you say is the best to replace the old ones with?
Well so far I am using a pantera nub and a maple leaver silicon 50 degree bucking for aegs and the results are much better
@@FOXGREEN does the macaron bucking fits on the regular barrel? Because i want another barrel on it but i dont know which one.
Nice video bro. But you need to work on your indoor gun range game…….. 🤣🤣🤣
Ya I do 😂
Can you recommend a good hop up and bucking thanks
Max hop and any maple leafe aeg bucking work well.
Do i need to change the nozzle if i change to maxx hop up?
I think not but not hold me to that
Do you recommend it in 2024? Because i need a 0,5 joule airsoft gun and 300€ isz my budget, but i dont know if there is anything better, but now i thing there is also a upgraded version the ssr-4 gen 2 . So is it still worth it in 2024?
Yes I do its still great. But the version 2 of it dropped only last week may be worth going for ad I al sure there are more improvements to it also.
@@FOXGREEN yeah i getting it for christmas so i must wait anyway
how should i reduce the fps
Get a lower power spring f or take out the spring which is easy and cut a coil or more depending on how much you need to reduce the power then test it again.
You said the hop up was bad with heavier bbs, do you mean if I only use .2s Im fine, or should I still upgrade the hop up
Uo to 0.27g bbs your fine man if you want heavier I woukd just change the bucking and get a flat nub is all.
Mine was amazingly good. Like I love it I replaced the bucking and put in a pantera flat nub that's it.
@@FOXGREEN it shoots great now I put in a flat bucking with my own sugru flat nub.
The spring 🤣 the spring was cut and bent in at the guide rod end proper butcher job 0.74j and
0.82j without hop set.
Front body pin wouldn't come out and then wouldn't go in I needed to dremel the receivers and pin.
Motor was jammed in wouldn't move wires needed adjustment run a different way.
Dust cover wouldn't lock.
But all fixed shooting great now.
🤣🤣 No fun if there's nothing to fix 😉
Yike you had a lot to to 😅 mine just the bucking to get it shooting heavier bbs and I was happy 🙂
Please where can i get the 22mm ris for mlok?
Here you go man novritsch.com/product/mlok-picatinny-rail-medium/?nov=FoxGreen%20Airsoft
Does the gun come with battery’s
Nope it doesn't
Does someone know if i have to change the Nozzle if i put a maxx hopup m4a pro in the ssr4 ?
I could be wrong but I don't think so
Is it possible to make is semi only?
Only semi and burst on the second function I don't think you can go any less than burst
Can the ssr4 take an 11.1v titan battery given its only the buffer tube or could it be changed to a crane stick for extra space? Really thinking of getting this gun but want to use titan batteries for their ease of use over lipo batteries.
You could add a crane stock if you wanted the orginal stock isn't big enough. The nov battery is fine though also
Can i put normal m4 magazines in to ssr4?
Yes you can 👍🏻
the base gun is specna arms
Yes it is. The internals though certainly are not. That's where the difference lies and is why this performs better than a stock Spenca arms.
What is the innerbarrel length off the gun
It's in this review but can't remeber where I say it 😅
@@FOXGREEN ah ok ill watch it again!
music is a bit loud
Yes it is sorry about that
Hey 👋 what is the size of the suppressor?
Not sure and now I do t have it anymore sorry!
@FOXGREEN oh OK mate. thanks anyway
What weight BB do you use
Between 0.3 to 0.32g bbs usually but sometimes 0.28g if it's not a windy day
What bucking did you get to hop the .32
The stock bucking hops 0.32 gram bbs but just barely and ut reduces the fps too much so I replaced it with a Maple leaf 50 degree aeg bucking.
@@FOXGREEN think Mr hop 2021 70° is to stiff?
Deends on the joules your runnning if your shooting over 2.5 joules maybe then but if your under that stick with 60 degree.
review after 1 year of use SSR4?
Going great still zero issues 😌
After 1year for me only needed to change bucking.
Not bad man 😉
What are the attachments?
So the scope is Nov 1x4, the torch is the olight opinion mini and the silencer and peq box is acetech 👍
@@FOXGREEN what about the suppressor
Soory
Do they sponsor you?
Ya I am an affilate with them with the last year.
@@FOXGREEN no hate, got to get that bag
how long is the supressor? on the lookout for one
170 mm long
What silencer is that?
It's a xcortech tracer unit that goes with the round counter
Do you still like this thing? Does it make any "flash or muzzle light"? Or does it just illuminate the BBs?
Hello, how do you see this replica for a price range of 300-350 e? Compared to a Specna, how are you? Thank you.
This is an extremely good gun its actually so accurate sounds good and the trigger is excellent its coming up in my next video gameplay with it. Consider9ng ti's 229 euro it's a bargin and I'd definetly recommend it.
Hello, I have acquired the SSR 4, and the truth is that it is going quite well. Which interns would you recommend upgrading first? Do you think maple life rubbers will go well? Another thing, what silencer did you put on yours? Thank you!!
Are you from cork?
I am laddd 🤣
