I'm absolutely sick of duckweed. I originally got it to feed my goldfish some fibre, but it gotten everywhere. It's in all my tanks, some of my grids, I've had it in the bath off my elbows, in a cup of coffee. Anything that removes duckweed is a winner for me
1) Duck weed are infinite free food guys ... Collect the excess amount , let it dry ever in microwave or direct sunlight when you have a sufficient amount of it , put them in a grinder ... then serve it to your herbivores fish ... 2) use a DIY floating device thus restraining the growth of duck weed only in the inner side of the floating device ... same for all the floating plants if we want to restrain their growth in your aquarium...

Good little video that! I use a brine shrimp net to remove duckweed from my tanks. Works well
Hay fm yeah I have tried the net approach it drives me insane the duckweed if there is one bit in the water still it comes back again

Dont use the air tube. It is really bad. You can use it outside the tank but in the tank it dissolves and leaves flocky peaces of plastic in the tank
