Bryant, in comparison to Jordan, James, & Duncan has been unlucky with the cards he has been dealt.

33.7 pts 7.2 Rebs 8.3 Asts on laying down fadeaways and double teams. I loved kobe in his solo finals runs because he proved he was the best two way player in history. He was so clutch it made everyone shook when the 4th quarter was closing. He showed his maturity giving passes on double teams and high iq plays which made him an even more difficult puzzle to figure out, and an underrated stat line of 8.3asts shows that. And he did it with Gasol and Odom, which are close to nothing in this league now. People who hate literally dont know basketball and just look at his stats that may "contradict" how truly important this dude was to the game. After his injuries people were quick to judge him but in my opinion, Kobe couldve averaged 25 for two more season ls and stayed averageing over 20 in his final season. Damn i miss Kobe, my greatest player of all time.

Alot of people's arguments on Kobe Bryant is that "Oh, he went 6-24 in game 7 of the Finals". What about Michael Jordan? I love MJ but he shot 15-35 in game 6 of the 1998 finals with 1 assist and 1 rebound, but that never gets criticized, why? Because he won. He willed his team to the victory, and he didn't care how many shots he took to do it. And Kobe did the same thing. And I'm not a big stats person but kobe had 15 rebounds and 5 assists to go along with his 23 points.

Kobe's Player Efficiency Rating goes down in the playoffs (23.5 to 22.4). MJ's PER went up in the playoffs - this is unheard of, and truly separates Jordan from the rest. He became even better on the biggest stage. His 27.9 PER in the regular season is the highest career PER in NBA history... and it increased to 28.6 in the playoffs (which is the highest career playoff PER in NBA history). He also has the #1 scoring average in NBA history in reg season, playoffs, and finals (min 15 games)

Exactly: During this playoffs he said Kobe's days of going out and scoring 30 or more were over. At least he admitted he was wrong lol

@nyknick4life That was Joe speaking on the rule changes (note: "it benefits me").
"You can't even touch a guy now. The college game is much more physical than our game. I always tease Michael [Jordan], if he played today, he'd average 50."
-- Larry Brown; coached the 04 Pistons defense
"Just the no hand-checking rule alone brought so much speed and penetration and cutting back into the game. Before, if a guy tried to go through the lane, it was - bam! - you stop him."
    --Doug Collins

Kobe destroys the Suns in 6 games in WCF (winning his 5th championship ring and 2nd Finals MVP)
Meanwhile Lebron loses to Celtics in 7 games in ECF (taking his talents to Miami)

Never seen jordan do those shots under that duress playing against people that can also dunk. Jordan played with alot of unathletic people. No dis.

Agreed. Kobe also has better post-game....And it's almost just like KD and Kobe when it comes to shooting, Kobe=Better Mid range game, Durant=Better 3-point shot.

30,000+ points 6,000+ ast say something as he is the only player in NBA history to accomplish that feat. Not even Michael did that.

@Jose Gonzalez actually je can do more than just dunk its his athleticism and strength that make him great. If he wasnt 6"8 250 lbs. and lightning fast with hops he'd be pretty ordinary. Thats how he won 3 mvps with holes in his game (3pt,ft,post etc.)

People trying to put Kobe above or at the same level with MJ simply do not remember how great Michael really was. How can you say that Kobe is better closer? Dont you remember game 6 in 98 finals? dont you remember flu game or game 1 of 97finals etc etc?! Michael was like a machine programmed to win champs. and in every finals he had to prove his clutch skills and you people after one tough game against Phoenix put Kobe above or even to Michael.
I like Kobe but he will never be as good as Jordan
