Powerful words
Wow, that’s deep 🤔
I've been crying for 3 days now and this is the best comment I've heard. It made me genuinely laugh. Thank you for this.
Beautiful comment
Reggie May be the healthiest looking NBA player that played in his era, he looks so young.
DomisLive NEWS He’s got makeup on seriously.
DomisLive NEWS Isaiah Thomas still looks young too but I’m sure these guys are dyeing their hair
Benefits for being thin.
True they all wear makeup but Reggie is 54 there's only soo much it can hide. The dude workouts everyday eats healthy which makes him look even better.
Scottie Pippen gets my vote.
Jerry west is so broken it really hurts my heart to hear him crying.
Jacqueline Marie especially since he said it’s his worst day of his life, and he also lost a brother in korea... man, this is so tough 💔
I agree. Jerry West and Kobe are both Legends of the game! May all the individuals affected rest in peace. Amen!
Kobe was legit a son to him
Kobe was like a kid to him !
Jerry west abandoned kobe
I remember the Kobe and Reggie brawl back in 2002. Look at Reggie now. No matter how competitive they got, he always had tremendous respect for him
The great players 99% of the time respected each other. When you get two guys like Kobe and Reggie, they wanted to beat each other out of respect.
Just like Shaq and Charles Barkley brawl back in 1999. And now they have huge respect for each other.
@@DragonPupEclipse nah, their mothers just kick their behinds to make them become friends. 😂
now why you gotta mention that ...people are mourning bro and you rather mention a fight ... what is wrong with you bro
Of course as you get older
You mature and sometimes you look back at fights and laugh at it.... And this is just amazing to see years later... Everyone is all playing a game at the end of the day... And have respect.... ♥️✌️
Reggie is such a well-spoken guy. RIP Kobe.
People that know Reggie as a polite well spoken color commentator don't know how cutthroat and competitive he was. He was just as competitive as MJ ans Kobe he just didn't have as much help or talent. MJ and Kobe were A+ talent and he was A- or B+. He was skinny but he was as fiery and competitive as they come. He made those games great. His battles with the Knicks and banter with Spike Lee in the sidelines. Battles with MJ. He was the only one ever I think to break MJs composure and get under his skin. Scuffle/fight ensued. I love Reggie. If Reggie had more talent around him he would have a couple rings. Kobe couldn't win without Pau, Lamar, Trevor, Artest, Bynum all those guys the second time around. The guy who kind of plays like Reggie and is my current favorite player is Patrick Beverly. A guy that outworks everyone and fought tooth and nail to be relevant in a league that he really was never supposed to end up in. Reggie played with a competitive fire that got under people's skin and often resulted in fights etc just like Beverly. But they were so respected and made other players better. KD loves Beverly as competition because he brings out the best in him. Reggie brought out the best in MJ and made him better. Just like Isaiah and the Bad boys made MJ better because they gave him such fierce competition. Reggie has everything Kobe and MJ had in terms of drive and determination he just didn't have enough help and wasn't as gifted as them. But all those guys are legends. Respect to Reg for making it uplifting. It's not a cry fest anymore. I cried now I'm over it. Kobe inspired us all to be better people and the world is a better place because of him. Let's remember that and do better because of his inspiration. Mad respect to Reg for using this moment to uplift us
@@izang5800 Well said
@@izang5800
👍
Solid
@@izang5800 Reggie did have help though. He had Artest, Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson plus solid role players like Jamaal Tinsley and Fred Jones that were having career years. The only problem was that (1) he was already out of his prime and (2) Malice in the Palace happened on the year that they had arguably their best chance of winning it all.
This is all respect to Reggie Miller, he is the guy you want at a funeral. The guy that can give a healthy laugh to celebrate a life.
He’s the only player I ever feared against Michael Jordan in the eastern conference No Starks, Ewing, Mourning, Hardaway, Shaq, none of those guys or teams worried me more then the pacers and Reggie he was a stone cold assassin just like Michael was and I truly believe even though Michael would never admit it Reggie could get in Jordan’s head
He seems to be a balanced man. He knows what life really means. That speech was something you would hear from a preacher. From a good preacher.
Hoody♤ Magic Too. You should’ve seen him on Jimmy Kimmel about this whole thing!!! He’s just LIT Up with positivity and it is very affective!!!
So well said.
@@ScottDusty Reggie is one of the 90's legend, smart, charismatic, stylish, my hero, all time Pacers leader.
MJ has unpleasant memories about his guarding, from legendary times.:)
Respect to NBA on TNT for this one hour special. This man impacted PEOPLE in so many different ways. Thank you for the tribute ✊
Yes, that was incredible. Kobe deserved this tribute for all he did.
Was very well done.
Kobe impacted people from all over th world
Yes, don't forget that girl from Colorado! I know, but still facts.
Gramme Sowell
Well they canceled the LAL-LAC game so they had to fill the slot with something
Reggie is the showing the perfect example of what crying inside means. We love you Kobe 👊🏾
Reggie Miller hasn't aged at all. He looks exactly like I remember him in the 1990s.
My Fam. use to call Reggie Miller the Vampire for the very reason. The man looks ageless. A great diet probably vegetarian, no alcohol, no smoking and great genes
@@Tabooza 😂. .. you righttt☝
Reggie Miller was one of the BEST 3 point shooter I ever seen back in the 90's....I love watching him play 😍
factz
@@kimberlylindsey1205 I agree but we all know kobe was strong in pretty much every department.
RIP Kobe Bryant. I never met you, but I feel like I always knew who you were. It is crazy that I could feel this sad for someone I never met. 👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾
I feel the same way 😭😭😭
@@maxamed7258 Let's also not forget the other people on that helicopter as well who lost their lives and the families they left behind. My prayers are to them as well.
He's the one i look as hero of my life. Seems like a mythical figure for me. Don't weep for too long brother, We inspire by him and now carry on his Legacy.

@@excelsus9611 Same to you brother. 👃🏾👃🏾👃🏾
Playing against Reggie Miller in 2000 finals has helped Kobe so much, because Reggie Miller was as ruthless a defender as it gets. RIP Mamba. Your legacy will live forever. Thanks for all the great memories
Reggie Miller is the most underrated basketball player in the history of the NBA I’m from Chicago nobody ever worried me playing against the bulls in the eastern conference like Reggie did. Knicks, Heat, none of them more the Indiana and that’s because Reggie was a stone cold killer I really would have been ok with losing to Reggie Miller and seeing him win a championship and I think it took everything Jordan had to beat him I guarantee Michael didn’t go out partying or hit the casino any night before he had to face Reggie
@@ScottDusty that is certain!
He was a fearless player...
Artiom Mikhailov Reggie’s wasn’t a great defender. Now a competitor he definitely push Kobe.
"You're gonna refer to me as The Caramel Cat"....
Kobe had a self-confidence/poise that is simply unmatched.
FlipStar26 what’s amazing is that it wasn’t arrogance. He was determined to put in the work to get to that level. That’s an attribute that will make you excel in every aspect of life. Amazing.
I still remember this well spoken young man Kobe and Jeremain O' Neal, as 17 year old coming into the NBA. And now he is no more with us. So sad.
And to think what happend to all the other families, what a tragedy.
They litarly ripped a part.
May they all RIP
I like how everyone can forget their differences to mourn the death of a legend.💜
The truth is those differences are small, much smaller than the important things in life... and we just lose focus sometimes. I'm as guilty of this as anyone. Look at Tyler the Creator. Gives a moving speech about Kobe in a post Grammy interview, then goes to Twitter to shoutout a hater from 9 yrs ago. We need to embrace our commonalities & let go of our differences, or we'll finish our lives with a life not lived to the fullest. That's the lesson I'm taking away from this.
I hate how people ignore the fake war on terror that killed million in Syria, Afghanistan, Iran and all who fell victum to the devils operating in shadow government. Kevin shipp ex cia exposes them. That's on great reference

What did you/ we/us actually lose when Kobe “fouled out of the game “
To actually genuinely be in mourning for this snake
You can see in Reggie's eyes he reliving the moment when Kobe took over in that game 4 in 2000 nba finals
Kobe and Reggie had a fist fight then.
@@greengreen2115 yeah
Man Reggie look good for his age, still look young, bro got alot of wisdom
I like how everyone forgot about when Kobe and Reggie once went at it as one of their matchups ended. Good times, old school baby!
How Bean masterminded Regg in that MTV show that summer of 99!
Hey Regg can u learn my that side step manoeuvre and Regg answered and u can teach me ur killer crossover.
Bean knew he could master Regg's technic but Regg couldn't Bean's.
That very next season in that 2000 NBA finals game 4 in Indiana, he used Regg's manoeuvre against him and it was a wrap.
🧠 +♟= Bean
Anyone remember when Reggie and Kobe (2 fierce competitors) got into an intense fight and ended up tackling each other at the end of a game? Now Reggie hurts with the rest of us :( This sad tragedy is uniting us. Miss you Kobe and GiGi.
R u the real Jonny Arnett??
Ashley Sheldon Yep, that’s me. Sup Ashley :)
@@jonnyarnett man just wanted to tell u great Content. I just enjoy Ur unbiased videos, partly bcoz u actually do not discredit or disrespect legends, Especially Kobe.

Looking forward to more great Content buddy 🙂..

Ashley Sheldon Thank you friend! Your kind words mean more than you know :) Glad to have your support
I forget Reggie is already in his mid-50s, considerably older than Kobe. Still looks the same as always.
Always NBA on TNT doing it right. God. I don’t know Kobe but it FELT like I did watching him as a kid. I looked forward to every game as that NBA on NBC anthemn played and he was what I looked forward to. He was flashy and so much fun to watch. He interviewed well. I met him once and he was nice and it’s just wow. Now as a grown adult with kids he models a father more than a ball player but wow. No Brady or LeBron don’t come close. Only one who did come close but he was a different beast was MJ. Kobe was more of an open book with tons of interviews and things in community and MJ was more reserved so it fell different
Hey Media take care Mr. Jerry he's in completely pain... Please give him some space we don't want to lose the logo
Leonardo Noguera
Kobe should be the logo.
@@HHHPedigrees I believe Leonardo is saying we don't want to lose someone else
Jerry is there by his own will. He wants to be there to support Kobe's legacy at this time
I think it actually helps him. Because it releases all his emotions instead of keeping it to himself
@@HHHPedigrees nah.
I needed these stories so bad. Celebrate him & his Legacy 💔
Remember when Reggie and Kobe fought at Staples in 2002. But always respect and love
I thought of that pulling up the video bruh Rip to all of the lives lost that day 1 Luv Beans
Reggie Miller is so strong. It takes a lot not to tear up when someone speaks of Kobe! That story is just one of many of how Kobe worked to be greatest!
the heartbreaking thing about Kobe's death is he didnt get old, it was an unexpected accident, he's getting started with his 2nd career and the most heartbreaking is he's with his daughter 😔💔, i cant imagine what Vannessa and Kobe's family is going through 😢
it was heartbreak after heartbreak after heartbreak 💔💔💔

Reggie was my favorite player before Kobe arrived in the scene. I’m so glad they gave him a chance to speak about him.
This was epic. Thank you Miller for sharing your experiences with us.
"Celebrate Him"
For me, the shook moment was when the wikipedia page changed from "kobe is" to "kobe was".😣
MegaChallanger ik
😭 i checked wiki when i heard the news then i truly believed .... from IS to WAS
Haven't been able to go on the page, I was done when I saw it's pop up in the browser displaying spouse Vanessa Bryant (m. 2001-2020)
MegaChallanger seriously
"Kobe Bean Bryant was an American professional basketball player. A shooting guard, Bryant played his entire 20-season career in the National Basketball Association with the Los Angeles Lakers. He entered the NBA directly from high school and won five NBA championships"
It’s funny how Reggie’s fights with both MJ and Kobe were blown out of proportion, with people thinking Reggie was a hater. Doesn’t seem like that was the case. I always recall him getting hyped up for Kobe’s 49 point explosion against Denver in Game 2 of The First Round of the 2008 Playoffs.
Kobe impacted so many lives you don't even have to know him but you feel the lost. he was so inspirational to the next generation man he will be missed dearly.
The Caramel Cat lol that Kobe confidence was always a booster because he backed up the talk with the walk!
The Caramel Cat lol, I like that, love the stories that so many are telling about Mr. Laker
“Bigger than life” is when the person is gone, but you still can’t believe because the personality will live forever. You are gravely missed, Kobe and Gigi.
Still unbelievable af man
I'm still trippin bro
Amazing this entire NBA FAMILY that loved Kobe as a son, older brother, or younger brother.

Reggie Miller...Laid It Down!!! I clearly remember that game 4 2000 NBA finals in OT. As a Laker Fan, that was my first memory of the Black Mamaba!
Reggie looks so fresh and still looks young .. has held up well!
RIP all 9 who lost their lives (including Kobe and the adorable GIGI) 😢
Jerry crying his so heart broken. Miller time thanks for the good words
I love this Reggie. Such an eloquent moment
When Reggie said “all we had to do was one ...... and this dude” I lost it , you just really appreciate all those moments when things seemed to be the worse Kobe would do the unthinkable. Three days since and it still don’t feel real
It hurts me as a fan of basketball to see how much jerry is hurting. I hope someone is there for him. God bless that man
I remember watching that game..im rooting for the pacers to win and when shaq fouled out i said series will be tied..but kobe cannot missed in the 4th quarter and we know what happened..rip kobe..
Shaq is a class-act trying to support Jerry West there and when West spoke and broke down - how he took over so smoothly. Shaq is having such a tough time and then he watches over West like that. CLASS ACT!
I chose Reggie to my star-hero instead MJ in my starting highschool year in 96, and I never regret this.He is smart as was a player, and he has right, we have to celebrate Kobe and his legacy over basketball in life.
I can share the joy with the people who chose Kobe when he was just a talented rookie, a promise, and then saw him growing and become the legend who he became.
Beautiful words from Reggie Miller, absolutely beautiful words
Kobe Bryant and his daughter leave behind a huge legacy, so tragic! I'm sure one of his other daughters is going to carry on the basketball legacy in the future. They will be another basketball player carrying the Bryant name. It will not end from there!
Michael Ruelas I’ve thought about that too but it hurts knowing kobe won’t be able to teach othem the game like only be could . If one of them do end up liking basketball I would love for one of all time greats to reach out to her . LeBron or wade that would be awesome
azma775 Shaq will be there for the other daughters, I’m sure he will spread his love for basketball for them to carry on the legacy.
Man Reggie that was so deep😊💔😭
KOBE YOU ARE VERY CLOSE IF NOT THE SAME AS MJ
YOU WERE ONE OF THE BEST EVER
Almost 2 years since Kobe died it’s already 2022

May Kobe be remembered as my favorite NBA player of all time . I will keep him alive with me always.I will let others know About Thee Mamba !!! RIP Kob!!!!!
Lots of NBA players went from highschool, to college, or D league, they had a chance to develop their games from other places before going to the NBA, and people forget this, Kobe went straight from highschool, to the NBA he was still a kid, competing against grown men. These men were fully developed, from their games to their bodies, and Kobe was was a work in progress from his game, to his body. He wasn't fully grown.
Kobe still a kid too me dang I felt that!
Wow well said salute #ReggieMiller what a incredible tribute. #BlackMamba #KingKobe forever!
My heart goes to Kobe's daughter Gianna, who's died beside her hero, at the age of thirteen that beautiful young girl had so much life left. My condolences goes to Venessa Bryant, the three young girls left without a father and a sister. 💜💛💜💛💜💛
