If you're looking for silver, ask some of the older folks around (any) town where fairs, carnivals, old baseball neighborhood sandlots were. I did that in Norfolk, Va., Chandler, AZ, and Hemet, CA and many surrounding small towns around those places and over the years I have found more than 2,000 (that's thousand) silver coins, including Mexican and other foreign silver. That's not counting the coffee cans of coppers, nickels and clad silver. I use an old Garrett freedom 1 coinshooter.
Hey,i'm with you on the silver coin.I found five quarters in pocket change. But that doesn't count! That bag looks legit! Wish you would have panned one pea size. Then you'd have to post where you got it from! LOL!I googled gold in Florida. It said buy a beach detector!LMAO!
That silver stuff might be Gelina. It is pretty light and washes out of the pan early. If its a heavy metal it will stay in there till the end. Good luck out there hunting I hope you hit silver soon.
i think they do put flakes of gold in it. they just go down to a river, pan out all the gold that was in it, take all the extra rocks and put them and the dirt into a bag and they put bigger flakes of gold in it, but you never know, they might just get it out of the river.
@TactiFred try water detecting.thats where the gold lays too.loland its nice and cool 100degrees out today and i was out in it.loved it...well good luck to ya..HH!!
