Very pretty houses and the bottling plant. Love the water running over the steps.

Cliff awesome e video, I live about 10 minutes duo. Washington’s headquarters. This is a place on my scheduke yo check out and hike, have to wait for them to re open the parking lots. But thank you.
There is a foundation there that used to be the home of General Benjamin franklin fisher, He was one of the founders, Heirs bought the plant in the 1930’s sometime but they never made root beer here as their main plant was down in Malvern.
    Great video.

I've seen some rather strange stuff while being out and about also. At least you survived to tell the story, which is always a good thing.

Just went here yesterday. It was very cool. There is a LOT of stone all around the creek near it. I believe I saw that there was a house or two on the other dide of the creek, one of them owned by Hires.

I also thought of Valley Forge as a battle site, my lady corrected me. Apparently just a really important encampment for training etc.

Well hello sir! I can’t remember exactly how, but I found you through JP videos. Funny, you both mentioned each other in your most recent posts. I find that camaraderie really cool and often rare in today’s culture, so good for you both! I once lived close to Valley Forge, born and raised in Westchester, Chester county, which you likely passed through on your way. Throughout my childhood I had been all over the Valley Forge Park area but you showed me something new today. Through you and JP I have begun to learn how much I shamefully don’t know about the state I call home. But these amazing videos help me to teach my children and give me many options for hikes and camping. I am beyond grateful that both of you are obvious men of integrity. Clean narration, therefore perfectly family friendly. The fact that you apologize for tasteless graffiti just makes you that much more endearing to parents. I am learning so much from you, and my youngest child who is quickly becoming an all-around science junkie, (I say that with love!) is loving what I share with her. My thanks to you! And I will be visiting your Patreon for sure. God Bless you and keep you safe on these excursions! Gratefully!

One of the areas in particular, Mt. Misery aka Valley Forge Mountain has a very rich history up to and including the present. Some prominent names associated with the area are two very great men in their own rights: General Benjamin Franklin Fisher and Charles E. Hires. One of the members of the musical group grew up on Valley Forge Mtn. as well as the band itself draws it's name from the other "twin peak" Mt. Joy. I grew up next to the park and it was my playground as a young teen on my bicycle. I try to hike the park at least once a week all year 'round. If you get a chance please look into the history of both these men and their families. Both have quite an interesting past and were great Americans each in their own right. Each man owned Crystal Springs bottling plant at one point

Really cool historic place. I'm shocked that there is no graffiti there but I'm glad there isn't.

We definitely got lost on the Horseshoe trail before and ended up in the neighborhoods at the top of Mt. Misery. Still, it's a fun hike, if not a little exhausting :)

Yet another interesting video. I recall seeing some other UA-cam channel do a video here not too long ago too. I could've sworn it was DeepDishPies, but I just checked her channel and I don't see this place on there. Although I did find a channel with a video up showing the orange fencing around this place.

The last video I saw of this place had the orange fence around it - which I was happy not to see on my visit.

Not as many acorns this year - last year seemed to be a bumper crop. Otherwise about average.

Cool Vid! Lucky you made it out alive! I mean with Hannabell or bull or plain spooky! Lucky you weren't skinned and eaten. I don't think people realise the dangers you risk for your fans as in this video. Really a cool vid though. I will suggest, at least for the next few weeks to carry a wooden stake or two and a hammer. And be careful in those cemetaries! Stung thid time and zombied the next. Better get zombie spray too! Thanks much! DaveyJO in Lancaster Co
