The mhw character creator is probably the best one i have ever seen. Nioh 2 also has amazing character creation too, i managed to make a character that looks exactly like Jimin from bts. Very fun highly recommend!
It’s even crazier in Wilds, I don’t remember if this was in previous titles but you could even change teeth color and teeth stain color in the Open Beta
Not sure how I feel about the potion recipe tbh. I get that melon is just a popular flavour in Japan and that it is commonly represented with green food dye, but it just doesn't really fit the bill for something that in-game is brewed from healing herbs (previous entries into the franchise actually required you to combined a blue mushroom with a herb, but that got simplified in World). Personally, I'd maybe instead try for just a fresh herbal tea. If you use fresh mint, for example, you can get a lovely green colour, which you could then cool down and sweeten with honey for the mega potion. Alternatively, I think the thematically better option would be something like Tarhun, which is an Eastern European soda that is also a lovely shade of green, which is either terragon or woodruff flavoured, either of which would make more sense than melon.
I also really like the animations for the feasts in game, even with the same eating animation, they make the same grabbing animation work no matter the dishes. Great video!
i am so glad i found your channel again. i use to watch you like 2 years ago. and something reminded me of you. thank you for making content still and thank you for staying the same person. TLDR thank you for being you.
I feel for like the recovery potion if you couldn’t find the melon syrup at an Asian specialty store I think like you could’ve made it as an adult version of the drink and have use Midori as the melon component
Yeah...here's hoping Wilds prompts an English release of that cookbook. Kinda like how I wish there was a physical version of the Mother/Earthbound cookbook. (Yes, that is a thing too.) Also...just ONE of those meals? Aw man...well if I HAVE TO choose, I'd go with the Holiday Joy Platter.
Those foaming mugs on every platter in the game look delicious. 😋 Homebrewing is a fun hobby, but a bit more complicated than normal food recipes and I don’t know any movies/shows/games that have brewing guides. Mostly it’s cocktails that they’ll give names to, like Romulan Ale in Star Trek using blue curaçao. But if it’s truly an _ale,_ that means in-universe there’s a blue grain on Romulus that they brew up with a bottom-fermenting yeast.
Ngl out of the in game dishes I'd go with the fondue platter because it's a video game and in video games I'm neither diabetic nor lactose intolerant so I could indulge to my heart's content.
just like Michelin stars, where the implication is that because they have stars you already know it’s all delicious foods, it’s just a matter of how extravagantly delicious
I thought that was kind of weird he didn't look up what rice to use in paella if it didn't tell him what rice to use. Anyhoo, it still looks quite delicious, Monster Hunter food is top tier.
Hii :0 i just found your channel a few days ago due to it popping up in my reccomended, and your content is so fun to watch! (Thanks to you i got into a phase of watching cooking videos lol, and was not expecting churrasco to pop-up int he cookbook randomly, that was nice) :)
pretty much every japanese household has a rice cooker, not all of them have a cooktop big enough to do a proper paella dish that def needed heavier seasoning though (unless it was intended to be paired with something else that's heavily seasoned, in which case that's not paella it's just fancy rice)
I love this cookbook. It is interesting, and I didn't even know there was a MH cookbook! Time take out the good ol' Jetpack-Lanc.. I meant Gun-Lance, of course.
Day 2 of asking to do a book critique of the second cookbook of DnD: Flavors of the multiverse. I really liked the Monster Hunter Cookbook, but I find it really bland when it comes about time and measurements :/, but it is a neat cookbook nonetheless.
@TheUnRealSlimShady69 I see. That's the exact opposite approach I take to cooking. I ONLY care about flavor and texture and such, I never care about presentation and I actively dislike anything that is only for decoration.
@TheUnRealSlimShady69 I've always hated garnishes or even things like shrimp tails and mussel shells or bones. If I can't eat it, I don't want it on my plate. I make a lot of cooking videos, too, and my food tends to look ugly but taste great.
The only other videogames that I can think of that puts as much emphasis on making it's food as tasty as possible are Vanillaware games. I love seeing tasty looking food in my videogames but it always makes me so hungry.
I love this channel! Also nice cooperation with Sakuraco! Just ordered a box. Does someone know, if he also tested the Genshin and Final Fantasy 15 cookbook? Cannot find it, I am a little bit blind x.x :D
Idk much about shark fin soup, admittedly, but I always thought the... Curled seafood thing was something like a geoduck, since it can look similar when cooked and it has a... Cleaner reputation than anything made with shark. Either way, my favorite meal is... Any without sweets. I like sweet drinks, but I can barely stomach sweet foods. I'd probably just go with whatever Grammeowster makes. Nothing beats food made by a grandma who lovingly threatens you to eat a hot meal. :)
Yeah it took me forever to figure out what that curled seafood thing was but after seeing some google images of shark fin soup I figured that looked the closest. And yes, can't go wrong with the Grammeowster!
A whole bunch of different cookbooks, some from different franchises. I got two more you may want to check out: the Chuck E Cheese's cookbook and the Scooby-Doo cookbook. I just love your videos because I can see what type of book it is before I buy it.
Am I the only one who thinks that somethings got mistranslated with google as I know from personal experience it flickers between the words depending on where the camera lands.
I’ve never played mh, but I assume that some areas and animals are inspired by japan and china. From this video, I suspect that the Paella must mean there’s also Spain? What else is there in mh?

paella should be cooked with shortgrain rice like Arborio with very high starch content and in rice cooker bottom of rice won`t crisp up
I just heard of the Lilo & Stitch Cookbook. I think you should do a video on it
Holy crap i didn't realize how in depth the character creation was, that hunter looks exactly like you!
Love the customization in this game!

Tarhun would be pretty cool, but Tarragon is not a readily available ingredient to most 😢
@@MassiveDestructionSP If you can find a way to import Japanese melin soda, you can also find a way to import Georgian tarragon soda.
German woodruff flavour would be perfect as it's an actual herb-based flavour.
@@darthplagueis13 Eh, I suppose so.
Let us know when there's a Delicious in Dungeon cookbook. Also, looking forward to your review of the Wonder Woman cookbook.
I also really like the animations for the feasts in game, even with the same eating animation, they make the same grabbing animation work no matter the dishes. Great video!
I love your commitment to how making the food look like the cookbook

Wow welcome back to the channel and thanks for watching!
I gotta hand it to em with the presentation. Thats beautiful and enticing
Just a tip for adding saffron: first grind it with some crushed ice (it'll help the color to bloom) then add it to your dish
Never heard of that technique, I gotta look that up!
I feel for like the recovery potion if you couldn’t find the melon syrup at an Asian specialty store I think like you could’ve made it as an adult version of the drink and have use Midori as the melon component
Good idea! That was gonna be my plan C
I would eat the Chef's Choice platter, I always wanted to try it ever since I first played the game when it came out. It looked absolutely divine!😋
It’s always a good day when miso posts a video

The Autumn Harvest Platter looks right up my ally

Thanks my GOAT for this upload. I only played MH RISE but I appreciate all the things this franchise has to offer.
can't say that when you've only played rise. AT LEAST play world.
OOOOHH Yeah ! I've been waiting for this one

My dream has come true, miso doing the monster hunter cookbook? I can die happy
Perfect opening as always! Please cover the Sopranos 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This actually convinced me to finally buy Monster Hunter World and give it a try hahaha - looked great!!
probably should wait for monster hunter wilds, its coming out feb 28
youd be going into a scarcely populated game as the majority of players will probably migrate to the new game
Never forget. It doesn't matter which weapon you pick, the one you enjoy most is the best.
I trust the grandmeowster chef i would try the seliana platter
Grandmeowster Chef can do no wrong!
Ngl out of the in game dishes I'd go with the fondue platter because it's a video game and in video games I'm neither diabetic nor lactose intolerant so I could indulge to my heart's content.
I like that logic!
Be careful, there is currently an unofficial Dungeon Meshi cookbook that is ALL AI!
So if I'm interpreting your grading system correctly, 1 Miso-lin star is good, 2 is great, and 3 is flawless?
just like Michelin stars, where the implication is that because they have stars you already know it’s all delicious foods, it’s just a matter of how extravagantly delicious
As a european i have to tell you that you killed a bunch of spanish fellas by using the wrong rice in the Paella 😂😅 pls try paella rice
I thought that was kind of weird he didn't look up what rice to use in paella if it didn't tell him what rice to use. Anyhoo, it still looks quite delicious, Monster Hunter food is top tier.
@@RoyG.BivDevoe Well i dont know If they have Paella rice in Japan 😅 but it really is making a difference using it
@@tschagg2941You can find it in an specific area in some types of marts.
@@jfsps15 ah ok thx, then it should definitely be included in the recipe. But tbh it isnt a good paela recipe anyways
I'm not sure if they have Bomba rice where he lives...

Loved that you could add honey to make a better potion just like in the game 😅
pretty much every japanese household has a rice cooker, not all of them have a cooktop big enough to do a proper paella dish

recently got back into my mh brainrot so great timing lol!
Its always a feast when I watch your videos during the meal.
Can we hope for a video on Halloween?
That would be amazing
Unfortunately I don't have a long form vid planned for Halloween but I will be uploading a short on the Ghosbusters Krispy Kreme donuts 👻
“Lime Jello is the Best Jello; Fight Me!”
Nada.
Something to unwind to, thank you.
LOVE YOUR CONTENT MISO! thanks For this ❤❤❤❤

I hope you revisit this recipe or try other recipes from the book.

Give me the platter with the giant lobster and shark fin!
This is just a question. But could you do a review on Pixar the official cookbook that came out sometime this year
I love this cookbook. It is interesting, and I didn't even know there was a MH cookbook!
Time take out the good ol' Jetpack-Lanc..
I meant Gun-Lance, of course.
i cant decide all of them looks tasty

I thought the whole point of skewers were to help cook the food on a grill? The food looks really good, though!
@TheUnRealSlimShady69 What do you mean by "design execution"?
@TheUnRealSlimShady69 So, they are only for decoration, in other words?
@TheUnRealSlimShady69 Makes sense, I suppose.

It just occurred to me that the massive meals in Monster Hunter are because hunting those monsters must burn thousands upon thousands of calories.
Oh I'm sure it's quite a workout! Especially for those greatsword and hammer users 💪

i would have to go with the fall platter of sausage and soup and cheese
Am I the only one who thinks that somethings got mistranslated with google as I know from personal experience it flickers between the words depending on where the camera lands.
Google translate fails to understand that Japanese is a context-sensitive language, so it constantly messes up the translation, yeah.
You know, I've been wondering if there's a Genshin cookbook. There are so many dishes in the game, you'd think there's a cookbook
THE MASSIVE SEAFOOD PLATTER, NO CONTEST XD
I’ve never played mh, but I assume that some areas and animals are inspired by japan and china. From this video, I suspect that the Paella must mean there’s also Spain? What else is there in mh?
Monster Hunter Rise is heavily inspired by Japan for sure. I feel World has the most Spanish influence
sunbreak had a old english aesthetic to it and there are japanese inspired villages aswell as some more tribal inspired settlements
If I could pick one, it's grammeowster no question.

Is Monster Hunter like Pokémon?
Is the Powerpuff Girls cookbook any good?
thank you
can you make something from persona game????????
