What's with the hate on CM Punk? He could have died because of medical negligence!! Obviously he's not gonna want to have anything to do with WWE after that. He was forced to wrestle when he was meant to be in rehab for injuries, had concussions, and because the doctors took no notice of his pain, he ended up having a staph infection that could have killed him.

CM Punk was the best thing besides Daniel Bryan that WWE had in it's recent PG years when it came to in-ring ability. He even made matches against John Cena watchable (MitB 2011, Summerslam 2011 were awesome).It's not his fault that he was pushed on the side when it came to being in main event card when he and we knew damn well he well deserved to be in main event. Creative team seemed to not know what to do with him so they've been misusing him in the last 2-3 months after his feud with Lesnar and before his departure putting him in pointless matches and segments making him look like a jobber.. Besides he was pissed off that part-time wrestlers got main event push instead of him or Daniel Bryan who both were busting their asses in the last 3-4 years non-stop and what somebody like Batista comes back what week or two before Royal Rumble and wins it goes on main event of Wrestlemania or Brock Lesnar really he shows up maybe twice a month, wrestles match once per 3 months and is WWE World Heavyweight Champion where if you do not defend the title in 30 days it would be vacated yet Lesnar will not be wrestling at Hell in a Cell and is rumored to wrestle at Royal Rumble 2015 against who....guess..... Johnny boy Cena. That would be nearly 4 months without title defense yet he can keep the title (I know thing with Lesnar happened after his departure but I'm just giving example of how WWE treats part-time wrestlers). I'm glad he quit because of him Daniel Bryan main evented Wrestlemania and won the title which he damn deserved. Too bad he got injured and WWE took the title from him but it was a special moment for Daniel Bryan's fans.

Everyone whining about him "quitting" should basically realise he put up with being treated like shit by WWE for 8 years, right from the day he walked in to the company and only even managed to get into the company thanks to Paul Heyman. Even when they gave him a push (which was only because he was leaving anyway) and the WWE title for year he still got the spotlight taken off him by Cena, and then they dumped him in a tiresome, never ending feud with Paul Heyman and Ryback and made him continue wrestling with a staph infection. What's worse, they decide to give him his termination papers on his wedding day. I say good on him for refusing to put up with McMahon's bullshit anymore.

He was the WWE Champion for fucking 400+ days!!, ECW Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, World Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion and MONEY IN THE BANK WINNER! He has feuded with the biggest wrestlers, Rock, Cena, Orton, Jericho, etc. If thats treated like shit, then I apparently don't know what that means. Thats all in the time of 8 years! If it wasn't for Paul Heyman, Punk would have been fired before he even got to the main roster back in 2006. Let's also not ignore the fact that he didn't receive equal pay despite the fact he wrestled in one of the biggest matches at Wrestlemania 29, and was forced to continue wrestling despite health issues.

Cena is set to leave WWE in the next couple of years to take up acting (thankfully). So, here's how I see it: I think in a year or so, Heyman will bring Punk back to end Cena at WM in a retirement match or something. From there, CM Punk will then become the next Steve Austin of the company, while guys like Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns take Cena's place.
