- Emotions are running high at school board meetings across the U.S. over mask mandates in schools. "Actions have consequences. If you vote for this, we will come for you, in a non-violent way," one angry parent said at a school board meeting in Williamson County, Tennessee. And when the school board voted to temporarily require the face coverings, there was a heated reaction. "Will not comply! Will not comply!" the crowd chanted.
Remember the old days when your parents would be upset and would not wanna go to the school meetings because it would be boring af. Good times.

I truly hope none of their children get ill, like my child did. She was life flighted because our local hospital couldn’t do anything else for her. She was on a ventilator, sedated in PICU why I laid there next to her. 4 years old . We choose to wear masks because we don’t want to go through that again & we don’t want to risk harm to anyone else’s child.

My wife and I just retired in June of last year as teachers, thank God. Look at what teachers contend with in the classroom. It's as bad as this and worse and their kids learn this and bring this behavior into the classroom as well. If anyone for a minute thinks there is a problem with education, yes, it's the parents!!!!

I'm not for the vaccines and I don't like my kids wearing masks all day. But I would NEVER do this. I just switched the kids to online school and we have a good structure. We do social distance still and wear masks when we go out to the grocery store.

As a teacher, it makes me very sad that so many of my fellow Americans care so little about my health and well-being... I was in Korea for all of 2020 and part of this year, and not a single adult or student complained about mask mandates. In fact parents heavily pressured schools to take every possible precaution to stave off the virus. Coming back to my home country this year was a shock. I couldn’t believe all the outrage over face masks. How can people be so selfish? Furthermore, not a single one of my Korean students ever claimed to have breathing problems from their masks. That includes my students with asthma. Do you know why? Because you can easily breathe in a face mask, you big babies.
