Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Mi Pad 5, Cyberdog event.. What did you miss? [Xiaomify]

- Xiaomi just had their event; launching a new phone in the Mix series, a new Mi pad 5 (finally!) a few ecosystem products, and.... a robo-dog!
The Mi Mix 4 now has an under-display front facing camera, which is a technology I personally was very much looking forward to. -Keeping the front of the phone clean and neat. As always it's made of a unibody ceramic housing and sports a Snapdragon 888+ processor.
The Mi pad 5 is coming out with two variants, including a Mi Pad Pro 5 and Mi Pad Pro 5G variant. It's got an 11", 2.5K display and has optional accessories like a keyboard and a pencil. I am quite excited to try this new Mi Pad out!
Then there were a new smart home speaker (Xiaomi Sound) that can be stereo-paired and can link up to 8 speakers for placement throughout the house. For now this one will only be out in China and looks to be Xiaomi's answer to the Apple Homepod Mini.
Xiaomi also announced some new OLED tv's, including a, huge, 77inch model. But the big surprise was the Cyberdog. Xiaomi's answer to the Boston Dynamics Spot. This came complete with a demo of the robot doing a backflip and it looks really cool. For a first time show-off it seems very well developed. - Наука та технологія

under-display camera will launch in the next 10 years for iPhone. That's how innovative they are. The best phone company in the world with the latest technology.

@Jaden maybe not the best But, mix 4 is better in both at hiding the front cam and the picture quality then samsung fold 3. Also better than zte's under display cam
Apple doesn't really need to be innovative when they've built up a brand. Their software just works and is well optimized so normal people not too bothered with tech will prefer it.
They did a choice to go with an advanced faceunlock, which probably will bite them in the ass when going to full screen displays.

I wish they add external memory slot and a fully working sim/cellphone feature The mipad 4 lte is the same as mipad 5 pro, it has simcard but you cannot make a voice call, only text and data mode.

For me the High spec devices , especially the Mi Tab 5 Pro, are a no go, because the have no usb3 port.

@@jamzqool As far as on gsmarena the Mix4 and Pad 5 have only USB2 type C
I am pretty sure that no MI phone or Tab has anything else the USB2

Too late to the party, I bought tab s7+ plus keyboard for 650 euro on offer 5 months ago, if one waits for good offers, Samsung gives great discounts on their products and hence I get more and more into Samsung eco system even though I want to switch to Xiaomi ecosystem.

Come on Xiaomi, you can put the freaking camera under the display, but can't include an USB 3.1 port with display output capabilities?
I'd love it id I could connect my phone to a monitor, hook up a Bluetooth mouse/keyboard (like those foldable ones) and use it like a PC.
